The rooms were ok for the price, but the sofa bed is old and uncomfortable. The shower ceiling is falling apart, half the outlets don't work. The breakfast was good, but the hotel smells like Marijuana most of the time.

Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend
Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing.
• Unclean Rooms: The shower was dirty, the water didn’t drain properly, and the shower walls had visible dirt — clear signs that housekeeping had not been cleaning thoroughly.
• Poor Facilities: The AC in the breakfast and lobby area was broken, and it was over 80 degrees. When we asked the manager about it, she admitted that the owners were being “cheap” and delaying repairs by shopping around for quotes.
• Unprofessional Management: The manager, Anakaren Resendez, was rude to my mother, refused to send towels to our room, and claimed it was “policy” that guests bring dirty towels downstairs before receiving clean ones. When I contacted Staybridge directly, I was told that is not company policy.
• Lack of Customer Care: The manager openly said she didn’t care, told us it wasn’t her problem, and that housekeeping wouldn’t be available until 10am — leaving guests without clean towels in the meantime.
This was a horrible experience from start to finish. The cleanliness, customer service, and management are far below acceptable standards. We will never stay here again.

The staff Anna, Jose, and Manager Anthony were the best. accompanided every need we had. Clean rooms! Comfortable. Nice little happy hours Mon thru Wed. and finger foods as well! house keeping was there when needed. All staff was professional, friendly and caring!!! parking was easy too! had a nice pool area too. place to grill out if needed. We stay in a kitchenette! I was great!

AVOID at all cost!!
Please do not stay here!
The lobby is a hot humid sauna, no A/C.
The rooms are terrible!
Random ppl walking through the parking lot
Smells like marijuana every time you step outside.
The hotel is very outdated. Cheap owners just putting bandaids over damaged areas.

BEWARE!! I rarely write reviews but I feel that I should do my part by posting this public service announcement to others.
This hotel is by far the worst hotel that I've stayed at in Houston Texas. The room that I stayed in was full of roaches, the mattress & linens on the bed had bedbugs, and the bathroom area was not thoroughly cleaned(nasty smell).
Management is highly aware of this problem by reports of these incidents and tons of negative reviews about this property. I would not advise anyone to waste their money on such a atrocious facility.
Also, I am certain that the hotel rooms at this specific location has hidden cameras in their rooms.
**I do not need management to reply with some generic, scripted response trying to do damage control**

The older african american lady at the front desk on july 15th 2025 at 5am was the most rude person I have ever dealt with at a staybridge. My flight was delayed over 6 times and I called to let them know the situation around 8pm the day before and she tells me they canceled my reservation. At first when I entered I told her I’m checking in and that i called the night before and she says “mm mmm no you not” with attitude. When she said she canceled because no one left a note i said “whaaat in disbelief” and she says “its canceled thats what.” After all that she reinstates my reservation but refuses to use the company info on the reservation and said I have to wait for the manager because she refuses to use the company info. I have work at 9am and been awake since 7am yesterday with no sleep at all. This isn’t the kind if customer service I want to deal with after being awake 22 hours straight and traveling. IHG needs to do something about the employees at this location because Ive stayed at many staybridge locations and never dealt with this kind if rudeness or inconvenience.

Our flight got cancelled. Super convenient for the hotel to provide a pick up/drop off shuttle. Paid a breakfast fee that was well worth it. Easy fast and convenient.

I rented this room for 7 to 8 days while waiting for a closing on my home , and any concerns I had the manager addressed immediately and I had a great stay will be staying again

stayed at Staybridge Suites, 1910 North Sam Houston Parkway East, Houston, TX from May 16–18, 2025, and it was an awful experience.
I arrived late on Friday night and was initially given Room 209, which smelled musty and had torn carpeting. I requested to be moved and was given Room 425—unfortunately, things only got worse. The room had a roach problem (yes, roaches on the walls, kitchen counter, and bathroom floor), and the air conditioning was completely broken, leaving the room unbearably hot.
To make matters worse, brown water came out of the bathroom faucet, which is completely unacceptable. When I reported all these issues to the front desk staff (who were very polite and tried to help), I was told that management was aware of similar complaints but there were no other rooms available. Maintenance was not available until the next day, and no action was taken during my entire stay. I was provided a small fan for the second night, which was hardly sufficient.
Despite repeated complaints to the front desk, I never received any follow-up or apology from the property manager, nor was I offered any compensation for the terrible conditions. I paid $216 for this stay, and it was absolutely not worth it.
I’ve stayed at other Staybridge locations and had good experiences, but this property was a nightmare. Roaches, broken A/C, brown water, and no managerial accountability. Until major improvements are made here, I would highly recommend staying elsewhere!

I'll start with the good.. Staff at the front desk was very nice.. The room i had was clean.. now the bad every single time I would turn on the water for the sink I would have to wait for the air to come out of the pipes before the water by the time I got water it came out brown.. nobody wants to see brown water.. and the very poor water pressure for the shower.. im positive ill get better water pressure from a garden hose.. for all the IHG and staybridge I have stayed at this by far was the worse.. and I can say that because I live in a hotel 3 weeks out of the month all over the US so I have seen more than enough hotels

Allowed me to make a reservation but did not have a free room causing me to waste $60, 2 hours and be forced to wait in the airport for 2 additional hours til security opened.

Air conditioner wasn’t working In lobby so was a sauna walking in,
Found cockroaches in room, dishwasher hadn’t worked in what appeared to be quite sometime as there was a fowl rotten food smell when opened. Most likely why the cockroaches were present. Horrible place to stay as my 10month old was crawling around on the filthy floor. Quite disappointed to there seemingly lack of care about the shape of the rooms.
