Update - 1-22-24 the dealer called in response to the reply below. Absolutely nothing changed and they are sticking to their bait and switch scheme, disgusts me they do this to people. Especially after a 45 min drive up there - No resolution. -- Just left the dealer 1-20-24, they pulled the old bait switch through capital one. Would not recommend.

If you're in the market for a vehicle, go see John Allen at Steele Hyundai. From the moment we met John, he treated our car shopping experience with care and integrity, which can be hard to find! From start to finish, he was involved in every part of the process, checked on things on our behalf and gave the best customer service we've experienced while shopping for a vehicle. He was respectful of our time and never pressured us to make a hasty decision in the name of "closing the deal". The team even stayed late so we could complete the paperwork and not have to return the next day to complete the transaction. Thanks John!

WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER: On 11/4/2023: I took my 2023 Tuscon to get it diagnosed for stalling on me. Rich said that my battery needed charging. They recharged it and I got it back on 11/17/2023 in the morning. On 11/17/2023: at 5:30pm, my car stalled again but was able to start it again. On 11/20/2023: I towed the car to the dealership. Called and texted with no success. On 11/25/2023: I got a message that they could not find anything wrong with the car and it was ready for pick-up. On 11/27/2023: I picked up my car. Two days later (11/29/2023) the car stalled on me again. The weeks that followed, my car would stall on me, and I would get a jumpstart from other drivers. On 12/30/2023: I towed my car for failure to start. Even AAA could not jump start it. On 01/02/2024 my car was assigned to Dillon. Called so many times to try get an update. Finally got hold of Dillon who said it would get diagnosed by Wednesday 01/08/2024. I inquired via text on Wednesday but got no response. On 01/11/2024 at 12:47pm, I called and left a message. I called again at 4:41pm and talked to Dillon. He said my car was ready for pick up. Why did I have to call a second time to find out my car was fixed and ready for pick-up? On 01/12/2024 I picked up my car. Receipt said it was washed and vacuumed but did not appear to be. I hope this is the last time my car is having this issue. I waited from December 30th to January 11th to find that a starter connector was disconnected. I have been a Hyundai customer for 12+ years but this experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I do not recommend this dealership or Hyundai Tuscon SEL to anyone.

This place has terrible service, never was bad under sterling Mccall, getting your car fixed here is terrible, they leave the car dirty, prices are overpriced. If i could give them a zero rating i would. Nick was okay in service all the rest should be fired.

Do not buy Hyundai and do not go to this dealership for anything!!!! We took our 2023 for not stallling. AAA said it was more than a battery issue. Hyundai left it parked in the lot for a day, started the car called us and said it is fixed. Only for the car to stall again. It has been atleast ten times that has happened. We got it towed to them 4 days ago and no one has called us with an update. The voicemail claims Dillon will call back....I wonder if such a person even exists considering we cannot get a hold of anyone. The reviews on google are not nice either.

I recently purchased a 2024 Hyundai Kona from Steele Hyundai and everyone from the salesman to the finance department was the GREATEST!!! I spent 1 hour choosing what I wanted and 15 minutes in the finance department doing the paperwork. I have never felt more comfortable and valued than I ever have before,,, Please keep up this standard of professionalism!!!

We took our car there on Tuesday and they can not tell me what's wrong with it. The manager David has gotten the worst attitude ever. Does not even call you back when he tells you. When you finally talk to him, he has every excuse he can come up with, always busy having someone in front of him. Still can't tell what's going on with the car. I will never take my car back there or recommend anyone to go there for repairs or even buy a car. I will stick with where I bought my car from. it might be far from my home, but at least they call you back and never give customers the run around. Bad service. Sad that David is a manager with bad customer service. I work in customer service. If I talk to people the way he talked to me the past 3 days, I would have gotten in a lot of trouble. This place is the worst I ever had to deal with.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Steele South Loop Hyundai dealership suck so bad. when I called on 10/21/23 early morning inquiring about the how long the service would take to see why my vehicle is running slow. they told that I would know some by 10/25/23. yet I haven't heard from my service advisor(Dillon) since they day I dropped off my vehicle. I have called the services desk several times they just pick up the phone and hang up. today is 11/1/23 and the same thing called several times (5) picked and hung up the phone. Called the receptionist desk she tells me that the only person that can help me is my service advisor (Dillon) How convenient when he's off today and he has yet to return my call for an up before his off day. once I get my car back I will be selling this piece of crap vehicle and go get a different vehicle that's not a Hyundai brand vehicle. they just want to sell you the car and say good luck when you need to get something fixed. I would not recommend the be or company to anyone looking for a vehicle. not to mention this same service advisor Dillon from last I brought my vehicle to them. so it's been almost 2 weeks and I don't have loaner vehicle so I can get back and forth to work. STEELE SOUTH LOOP HYUNDAI DONT BELIEVE IN GIVING CUSTOMERS A LOANER CAR WHILE KEEPING THEIR CARS FOR 2 DAYS OR LONGER.

New management is extremely lazy and just doesn't care about customers. Got rid of all good personnel and hire unprofessional young kids to take their place. Was quoted 2 hours for my service. Had an appointment. Service took 8 hours. Went to pick up the vehicle and no one wanted to help everyone just stood around. Picking in vehicle should have an easy stress free 5 minutes in and out ended up taking 15 minutes because they misplace paper work and don't keep the check out desk staffed. Might have to drive farther for service but being treated with respect and good customer service is worth it.

Dishonest, terrible communication. First service rep was let go without any communication to me, so I didn't hear from them for a week. Second service rep tried to avoid acknowledging a recall related to parts that I had to have replaced. My car has been at their location for over a month with extremely slow repairs and little progress. I would highly recommend driving a little further to bring your vehicle elsewhere, especially if the repair/reason for visit is serious.

I used to take my car here for service, I had purchased my vehicle here when it was the previous owner now it's called "Steele" and it might as well be "Steal" . It has changed too much . I pulled up and felt like I was getting jumped "literally ". A service agent came and as I was getting out of my car to give them my keys he yelled out " stay in your car" and pop your hood ! Two other guys came out and walked around my car and said oh your tires need replacement and the other pretended to get a battery read and said " your battery is bad" I was about to laugh out loud but I don't care for the circus . I left they lost my trust . Might as well tried to sell me a new car ! Apparently mine was going to die in the next few minutes! Needless to say it was ridiculous! Not worthy of a professional of any kind of service. So disappointed, they also charge more than other dealerships for an oil change! Lost a customer that was looking to soon buy another car from this dealership.

ONE MONTH UPDATE: I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this business. The manager initially contacted me and assured me that he would replace my missing items, including my stolen sunglasses. I promptly sent him the requested information, but to my dismay, I have not received any further communication from him. Despite multiple emails, he has not replied after our initial phone call. Every time I attempt to reach out, he offers excuses and promises another two weeks. Now, I find myself unable to contact him at all. This level of disregard and lack of accountability has left me even more frustrated and disheartened with this establishment.

had my car serviced here and will not go back. they had my vehicle for a month and I left a necklace in bag in the middle console and when I got my car back and noticed it missing I called them and they told me there was nothing they could do. do not take your car here they steal.

I see why this dealership rank a 1.5. my experience with them was horrible. I will never recommend anyone to them. They are the worst. Long story Short, back in April 2023 they misquoted (which was their fault) for a repair of catalytic converter for $991. And came back and said oh "we made a mistake on quote, it's $2,870., But I droved up there sat down and spoke with dealership GM (Steven D.), and service manager (Craig M.) they NEVER one wanted to honor the original quote that was given. I removed my daughter's car, took to another mechanic that indicated that it wasn't the catalytic converter, he fixed the problem that only cost me $400. STEELE SOUTH LOOP HYUNDAI was trying to be a complete rip off. NEVER AGAIN...
