Let me start with the good. The person on the phone was helpful when I called to schedule an estimate. The estimator (Luis G.) got my car estimated while I was there. All told, for body work on front corner and front fascia (plus painting) and rear and rear corner (plus painting) with replacement parts (rear bumper cover, rear lower cover and maybe front bumper cover and sensors), it took a total of 25 days. It seems a bit long, but that is not why the rating is one star. The lack of communication was terrible. During the course of three-and-a-half weeks, I left at least 6 voicemails without a return call back. State Farm left a voicemail with out a call back also. I dropped the car off on November 27 (a Monday). Originally, I received an automated text that told me the vehicle would be done in ten days and two Fridays seemed about the amount of time it should take. That was accurate because based on the damage (no structural damage). When I call to confirm on December 7th (and text), no response. At 5;30 p.m., I get a text that the car will only be ready next week. Okay, not happy that he did not call, but at least I got a text. Next week, I try and call mid-week to get an update and no response. I receive a text on Thursday (12/14) that everything is going as planned and that they just need to paint. Okay - I try again to call on Friday and leave a voicemail. There is no response on Friday with no response. I get a text on Monday (three days later) that it will not be ready until December 22. I need to know at this point if it will be done because our rental car is due on the 12/21 and I call on Monday and Tuesday, with no response. State Farm attempts to call on that Thursday, the due date and cannot get ahold of the adjuster either. State Farm extends the rental for another day. I call on Friday (12/22) with no response. At lunchtime on Friday, I call and ask to speak with a manager. The manager is out to lunch, but Luis is there and he calls me back about 30 minute later saying the car will be done but they need to order a reflector. When will that be ready? Well, he does not know but we can take the car and they can pop it in when they have it. Why would the reflector not have already been ordered? I do not know. The paint job itself looks good, but I am so annoyed that I don't want to go over with a detailed look. I noticed two small imperfections on the back, but will see if I can clean them off myself. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of service. Hopefully, I will not be needing their services anytime soon, but I will not be using SM Collision in the future. I still have to go back to get the reflector that can just be popped back in.

Let me start by saying how amazing Marcos and his team are! After waiting weeks on estimates from three other dealers I went into Sterling McCall and Marcos got me my estimate back within 30 minutes. The entire process was seamless due to their transparency and timely communication. The work done on my car is absolutely impeccable…you cannot even tell I had been hit in any form or fashion. I highly suggest this business! High quality work from high quality people!

They physical work wasn’t bad, but it took them 3 months to give me my vehicle because GMC was on strike. I still couldn’t get a part because everything is on back order.

This company did an excellent job with my vehicle after a collision. They kept me well informed during the entire process. Bo and his associates were always helpful, professional and very pleasant to work with during the somewhat stressful time of being without my vehicle.I am very grateful for their assistance.

Lest anyone see a couple of my recent reviews and think I have something against Ford: This collision center is fantastic. Got a handful of minor but detailed repairs done on my 2016 F450 Platinum dually faster than I thought possible. Javier Alcaide walked around and did an estimate so quickly that I wasn't sure he was paying attention - but he's just that good. My only issue was with the car wash guys, not the collision center folks, because they blew off a splash guard between the cab and bed and left it on the back seat rather than re-attach it.I'm not a fan of the location, being in downtown Houston, but it's worth the traffic because they do a really good job. We were there is get a estimate, the 2 people sitting at the front looked very annoyed we were there, and the young gentleman that spoke basically said : what do you want? He would not provide an estimate without us assigning a insurance claim to them, despite us telling them we would be taking care of the payment. I asked him to clarify, and he asked the manager, who could not be bothered to look up. They made it clear they didn't care about our business and I turned and walked out, and they said nothing. Usually this sort of attitude starts at the top, we took our business elsewhere.

Sterling McCall has failed to repair my vehicle as well as have the professionalism to be prompt at the times they set for looking at the vehicle. My car was repaired by this shop and while driving the rear bumper on the passengers side became detached from the car. Upon inspection all the screws and bolts were not replaced! So the bumper was damaged. Initially they denied they took the screws out then after talking to their technician admitted fault. A time was scheduled to bring the car by and Enrique was 45 minutes late due to an extended lunch. After waiting I was told they had no rental cars available so I would have to bring it back another day. That day came and Enrique again is taking an extended lunch and I was left waiting on a rental car. I would not recommend doing business here due to the unprofessional approach and the lack of quality control. I will not use this location again.

Horrible experience. Will never recommend this service to anyone.Much less they installed aftermarket parts and the dealership is charging me $605 for labor, they kept my vehicle for 6 months, telling me lies each time I contacted them.Horrible.Services: Steering & suspension repair

Quality and attention to detail are poor. I would take my vehicle elsewhere for collision repair. Paint and body work was sub par.
