Not sure but I think the whole building used to be the washateria back in the old days (and I vaguely recall that it may had been the Speed Queen washateria). My parents used this place when they bought their house in Spring Branch and had to use it for a short while until they got a new washer and dryer.

Ok for a quick wash.They do was & fold by the pound.
