I was on the phone with my sister walking, around looking, at things to buy, as one does in Target, and a store member kept following me. The layout sucks so yes, I was lost and I was on the phone so I was a bit distracted but every corner I turned, there he was too. I didn't notice (I kept seeing him but thought it was just a coincidence) until he stood directly in front of me and asked if I needed help. I said no and he still followed me. Meanwhile, there's a long line at the front registers. Target isn't a big deal to me so I don't mind not shopping here.

Extremely rude manager. This Target is located in my neighborhood which is very convenient whenever I need to buy foods and cosmetics. They have a great selection of veggies and frozen foods. Great deals and prices. My one star review has nothing to do with the store itself but more with someone who works there. I had an unsettling experience one afternoon when I witnessed a manager named Raul berate an associate (an elderly hispanic man with reading glasses on.)I was able to get the manager's name through a young lady at the self checkout.I was taken back by how condescending and mean spirited the man named Raul was towards the other gentleman. It became clear to me that the older gentleman perhaps suffers from anxiety or some form of PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder). Kindness goes a long way. I applaud Target for hiring people from all backgrounds including people with disabilities, but it is shameful that they still allow managers like this one to lead their stores. What type of person degrades an elderly man infront of customers just to tell him to round up the shopping carts that were left in the parking lot?? Shameful.

Black Friday at fast PaceWho doesn't like Target? Target is a target store to get things needed. On Black Friday, I picked up some starter gifts for the holidays. Frugal. This Target, is a Super Store, meaning a clothing, product, and grocery store. What did I pick up. Little knick knack people don't generally buy often.Shopping already,Kim

So I always do curbside pick up at Target, I never check my bags nor do I see anyone else check their bags because I guess we figure it's the employee's job and it's common sense when the employees are shopping for curbside items that the items are correct, nothing missing or damaged. Today I went to pick up an order and like always didn't check it till I was almost home. Can someone tell me why the box was empty??? I asked myself how did the person shopping for the item not notice that it felt extremely light??? It was a top coat nail polish by the way so it has a little weight to it. So I go back to Target, the guy that gave me my order happened to be out there, I tell him what happened, give him my bag, he goes into the store, then someone, who identified himself as a manager, comes back out, gives me my replacement and instead of telling me something like sorry for the inconvenience proceeds to tell me that next time if I can please check my items before driving off to avoid something like this because it's kind of hard to do an exchange without proof (I guess trying to insinuate that maybe I stole it.) So I turn around and tell him it's your employees job to make sure the items they are shopping for are correct and or not damaged or missing, isn't it??? He looks at me like I'm speaking a language he doesn't understand and then says well yes that's correct to which I reply okay well then please train your employees correctly and give them that advice, not me, I don't work for Target, ya'll do to which he replies I have, have a good day in a rude like tone. I guess the truth I told him bothered him. ?♀️?♀️?♀️ Honestly I feel because I was a Hispanic female at a Target in a nicer part of Houston he assumed that I was stealing or something. Little does he know there is no reason for me to steal an $11 nail polish when #1 I spend quite a bit of money at Target, he can verify that by checking my Target account and #2 when I get my nails done I spend minimum $60 so why would I need to steal an $11 nail polish??? Make it make sense!!! See I could have been one of those types of people that pull the race card but I didn't cause it irritates me when people do that, however, I really doubt he would have said the same thing to someone of his same ethnicity or a Caucasian person, but because I was Hispanic he thought he could try it and I wasn't going to say anything. You thought wrong sir!!! I do and will continue to speak up when I feel something needs to be said so please TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES BETTER TARGET!!!

Crazy dude, either homeless or maybe just coked up came in and had an over the shoulder bag. He A lined for the locked phone section. Pulled a hammer out of his bag, said something like light work and busted open the locked door. He pulled out a singular prepaid burner phone, tore the shelving out and dipped. I hid at first and then ran out to avoid interacting with him but then he jetted out. Employees were surprised. I don’t think they even called the police tho.For some reason I really don’t like this target. Area has bad memories associated and this situation was just the cherry on top.

This store is on the smaller side compared to other Target store locations.. The clothing and home essentials are very nice. The grocery side is small. I shop this location for the clothing and to pick up a few grocery essentials. I would give this place 5 stars if it were a bigger store with a standard size grocery section.

I recently visited Target, and it's always a reliable choice. The staff is doing a commendable job, providing assistance and maintaining a friendly atmosphere throughout the store. It's reassuring to have such a consistent and well-managed shopping experience at Target.

Overall uncomfortable shopping experience if you’re a “regular” they’ll point it out. A guy that works there when I was at self check out asked why I came so “often” and if I wanted a job but in a condescending tone. I declined explained that I lived close by and that other major stores like HEB and Walmart don’t take Apple Pay. I get my nails done and wax right next door so by default I come into the store to look around or if I need anything. I didn’t like the unprofessionalism it’s a store, do you not expect people to shop there or?

This is an odd Target; it has a lot while also not having much at the same time. I find the store layout not intuitive and the selection minimal (minus the grocery/toiletries sections). So, more like a great grocer with some added Target stuff vs the other way around. Parking can be tough because of the popular shopping center, and good luck exiting the parking lot if you need t turn left.

This store wrongfully fired me after I did everything they asked of me . Doing 3 jobs at once and getting pulled here and there. They never gave acknowledgement or even a thank you. They offer higher positions to the Hispanic/Mexican workers only, that’s never on time and call off whenever they want to with no form of write up or documentation. After working the same schedule for a whole year my schedule change without any conversation or agreement, when I went to change my availability I was denied a change and was told to talk to my supervisor Tavis. When i spoke with Tavis he told me he would change it. When the new week came he never changed it and over and over again I was promised by him through face to face and text messages (that I still have proof of) that I would be accommodated. When I wasn’t and desperately needed the day off I called in and when I returned and on the second day of the work week I was told after working 4 hrs that day to clock out cause it was my last day. I wasn’t told why or was told to signed anything just rudely told to leave and hand over my badge. I spoke to corporate and it wasn’t any follow up and when I applied for unemployment benefits I was denied cause they wouldn’t tell the truth that I was told i could be off . I had to fall behind on bills until I found a new job and I’m going to come for what is mine and was wrongfully taken from me . This store doesn’t care about they employees at all and they let so much slide . The store manager Raul harass and belittle everyone in the store . I still had a love for what I contributed to the store besides everything else but since I’ve been gone 4 other BLACK employees have also been fired and the same ones that was doing everything else but work are still there cause they are not black so that tells a lot about the store manager and the way they run things at Montrose target .

I had an incredibly unpleasant experience. When I approached the manager, Janet, for assistance, she not only declined to help me but also instructed an associate to assist me instead. In a hushed tone, she made a comment insinuating that she had more important tasks than helping me. Witnessing her rudeness and disrespect, I also saw her raising her voice at a fellow associate. It's disappointing that Target employs managers like her, and I sincerely hope I don't encounter her again in the future.

Great location. Most laid-back location in the city. Definitely puts the River Oaks location to shame. Parking is easy, and it’s a simple layout. Easy to get around for sure.

Trash service. Trash location. Employees trying to argue over a $30 product I bought because I didn't have a receipt, even tho I had the card I paid w and I bought it 3 weeks prior, not used. lol a joke. Return policy is 60 days regardless of receipt under $100. How does a customer know the policy better than them? like baby you still get your paycheck regardless- let me exchange my $30 product lol..

This is my first trip to Target in many years. I needed a some household cleaning and laundry items and was going by this store on my way home. It was sunday morning about 10 a.m. Store was not crowded. Had the items I needed, including lesser priced generics which I appreciated. Asked two different workers where to find items, they politely told me where. Checkout was a little unusual in that none of the manned checkout counters was staffed, so I had to use one of the 4 self serve checkouts. Fortunately, due to the time and lack of crowds, one was open. There was an attendant at the self serve checkout, who greeted me in a friendly manner. I assume she could have served the purpose of a manned counter person, as I saw her go to offer help to someone at one of the self serve spots. Store appeared clean. Can't comment on overall product availability due to my limited purchase list. Although it was a good experience, it is unlikely I will go on a regular basis since it is a bit out of the way for me and the items that I purchased are readily available at the Kroger and HEB where I buy my food.
