I called to check on trade-in process. I stayed on hold with sales for more than 30 minutes. If this is the level of customer service, no thanks... Every call goes to the automated Tesla call center and gets held up in a queue. I can only imagine the difficulty with service and warranty issues. Nothing to see here... Move on!

Stay away! I bought a new Model Y and almost immediately regretted it. Paint flaws and gap issues were seen immediately and posted in a service request. Service at the Richmond location initially seemed good, till I picked up my car. I received notice to pick up my car at 3pm, so I couldn't make it till after hours. When I picked up my car I noticed my rear tail light was not working my charging door was scratched and my car showed a charging error that I was told will go away after rebooting. All this information was delivered over the phone because nobody at any location is available to help on the weekend. I was without transportation till Monday and even then they (Richmond Service Center) said don't worry we will deliver a loaner and pick up your car. That was a lie! Now they are saying that I have a loaner assigned and even gave me a parking spot number with no instructions on how to access the vehicle. Worst service ever! Don't buy a Tesla unless you plan to purchase a new car that you can't drive. And beware of the arbitration agreement. It releases Tesla of legal issues regarding repairs!!! If you want an EV go to a mainstream manufacturer.

Very poor customer service experience. My husband and I made an appointment with someone over the phone for 515pm. We get a call to do the demo drive, the guy gives us instructions and says that he’ll watch us the entire drive. We can’t even leave the parking lot for 10 minutes because it’s saying we need a key card. I call Tesla sales again because it’s the only number I know of, and they help us get the car started. We get to our destination and switch drivers, just like the guy told us to do, and then the car won’t let us drive again. I wait on the phone for 15 minutes with Tesla sales again, just for a guy to tell me that it’s our fault for switching drivers because the car won’t start if we open the doors. But we literally submitted photos of both of our drivers licenses and were told to switch drivers once we got to our location? This guy ends up starting our car again and we get back only for Tesla to be closed, even though the lady that set up our appointment told us that we could talk to someone in person once we got back. We only drove the car for 15 minutes but were stuck in the car a lot longer than that and couldn’t talk to a representative afterwards anyway.

This was the absolute worst car test drive/shopping experience ever. We signed up for a test drive online not realizing its inside the Galleria Mall. When we finally got there, the store associates had no clue what was going on. I then got a call from the main tesla number directing me to the car in the garage. No physical person helped us on the test drive. I've never driven a tesla before so everything electronic was new to me and it was difficult following verbal directions via phone. They downloaded the test drive directions to the car for us. We thought that once we got there, they'd send us directions back. We reached the destination and wanted to look more at the trunk space while waiting for directions back. Well since we didn't have the key and apparently once you put it in park it "stops" the car, we couldn't put it back in drive. Of course, we only had the main tesla number and no way to immediately call our agent back. So we were on hold, stranded for 40 minutes while some poor guy in support had to figure out which vehicle we were in, giving him the VIN number, etc. We were the last test drive of the day and the store closed at 6pm. Apparently they closed up and left without making sure we brought their vehicle back. We will NOT be buying a Tesla anytime soon to say the least.

You would think that if you’re looking to spend $80,000 on a vehicle that you could expect some competent sales individuals and excellent customer service. Not so. I had the absolute worst experience at this place and highly recommend you do not visit this location. I made an appointment days in advance for 10:30 AM for a test drive on the Tesla Model X. Despite the fact they had called me and texted me and emailed me countless times in the three days between them I show up the day of the appointment 15 minutes early as instructed only to find out that they don’t have any of the model X’s for me to test drive because people never returned them. Now you would think that common sense would tell you that if you don’t have the vehicles, you should call the alert your customer so that they don’t inconvenience themselves by coming in. But not the case. Upon entering the store, there were tons of people just standing around and I couldn’t figure out who if anyone work there. There were two Black men who I was finally able to track down and asked if I could check in for my demo, they seemed like they could not care less about their job and had absolutely horrible customer service. I find out they don’t have any of the vehicles and are waiting on the vehicles to return maybe in another half an hour, and that the people who have a 10 AM appointment are next in line because clearly they missed their 10 AM spot as well. They were completely unhelpful completely unable to assist me didn’t offer to walk me through the model on the floor in light of that or any niceties. I asked if I could call me when the car is finally ready to drive. I walked around the mall for 40 minutes and never heard from them. Worst experience ever, Tesla needs to fire these individuals and find confident sales people for their store locations. I can only imagine how many sales I’ve lost due to their horrible customer service.

I wish that really hoping that the new production facility in Saudi Arabia translates into creating less expensive cars. I might want one of these to be my next car. So, I can see this car in the very near future.I am totally amazed at their process! And, the mechanics area is amazing to see!! Interesting place. Staff friendly; they encourage sitting in the cars. Test drives can be scheduled at an outside location.

The drive was great because I already loved the car.My experience at the store sucked due to very poor customer service. I walked in and no one greeted me even though all the workers made eye contact with me. I had to grab a worker to ask where I checked in for my test drive. She told me to sit in front of a computer then seemed really preoccupied while talking to me. She never said hello. I gave her my name then she said hello and gave hers. When I returned from my test drive and needed to give the key car back it was the same situation. I was completely ignored by all the associates.If I buy it will be at a different location.

One wouldn't expect much of a smaller show-room space like the one here at The Galleria, but Tesla has done a good job by keeping the space minimalist and changing up the cars often. They are strategic in only allowing certain folks in at a time to limit the crowds and do a good job at explaining questions about the cars.MIke from the showroom has always been my resource for all things Tesla. He's been quite thorough with his answers and is realistic about when folks should expect to receive their vehicles. The staff overall have been pleasant to deal with and most importantly, no hard sells.Test drives are available here. All the vehicles are parked two levels down in the parking garage, and are usually charging throughout the day / night. It's a little tight to drive in the Galleria, so they allow for overnight usage. They usually have more Model Ys and Model S' in stock, thought I have seen some Model 3s and Xs from time to time.
