The Big Easy is a historic and legendary live music venue in Houston, consistently amazing as the premier spot for Blues, Funk, Soul and Zydeco since 1994. It features top rate local and national touring acts, offering an amazing total experience for real music lovers with a focus on originals. The venue has the right amount of divey, friendly vibes and a welcoming dance floor, creating a chill vibe for all. It is a perennial winner for Best Blues Venue, with perfect drinks and a great place that does not disappoint.
I popped in on a Friday night to catch some live music (blues). The cover was $10 (cash). This dive bar had an ethnically diverse 40+ crowd, a fair amount of seating, and ample room to dance. It seemed to be a cool place to grab a drink after dinner.

The Big Easy is always Houston’s Best Blues Club where I go to play and hear the best blues music! It’s a Houston Historical Landmark, I highly recommend!

This place is like the holy grail for blues in the south. If you are in Houston and want a real live music experience come to the big easy. I love it!!
