Honestly if I could give this place zero stars I would. Came here to celebrate my friends birthday on Valentine’s Day and the bartender who was serving us was EXTREMELY rude. Mind you my friend was showing me around town as I wasn’t from the area and I was very nice to him but he told us we had to tip after every round and was upset when we didn’t. A good tip is for GOOD service and as a server myself I know how people can be but he definitely didn’t give us good service, I even asked if he had any places to recommend just trying to be friendly and not ruin the night and I’m not sure if he was having a bad night or not but he told me to go back to Dallas to which my friend said that we should just go if he’s going to continue being rude to us which would make anyone upset and start crying. Not sure if this is how customer service always is but I don’t recommend anyone coming here if that’s how they treat people who aren’t from the area it was very disappointing

Easily one of the best bars I’ve ever! Everyone is so kind; Mary, Eli and Jeremy. Awesome people and I never have a bad time:) Great atmosphere.

Tim , the bartender is awesome ! Overall , genuinely nice from the time we spoke . Very attentive to every guest that walked in. He is very helpful. I can tell the customers enjoy his company . Their favorite spot is right at the bar to swap laughs and stories with Tim . Not only is Tim a good vibe for the bar. I enjoyed my baked lemon pepper wings and Brussels sprouts . I will definitely be visiting again . It also stays open till midnight .

The bartender one night was very rude and disrespectful for no reason all we did was ask what was on draft and he said "well why don't you fucking look"

Let me start by saying a like a good divey, low-key bar, and that is exactly what this is. It is different than a lot of the other bars in the area. No frills, good prices for beer, and classic bar games like darts and pool. I can't speak to food or cocktails as I stuck with draft beer, which was priced very well and exactly what I wanted. Everyone was very nice, including the bartenders and the patrons. The place was playing early thousands and 90s alt rock, the music wasn't too loud and you could hear the people around you. They have a little patio outside to enjoy as well. There is a good bit of parking in the strip, but I'm unsure how full it gets during busy times. I wouldn't go expecting anything upscale, but it was exactly what I was looking for with good accessibility from midtown/montrose area.

Found this bar while I was walking around familiarizing myself with the area. Nice quick service from pleasant bartender, plus the three different beers I had were cheap in comparison to the other bars i had visited. Guinness was great. Could be my go to pub while I'm in Houston.

This is one of my favorite places to be at midtown. Jeremy & Eli are my favorites bartenders, they have so much experience in the industry. They quick and make a great conversations. I just love how funny they are, but overall they just amazing. I love their vibe and the restaurant vibe too. I won’t stop coming because of them!!!!

This place is always a home away from home! It is a come as you are where everyone is always just cool and welcoming! The bar tenders Jeremy and Eli are always awesome and attentive and fun to hang out with and watch them show their craft. It is a sports bar feel that will remind you of the tv show Cheers. By your second time in it gives you the vibe that everyone knows your name! I highly recommend this place to anyone especially if you are new to the area and want to find a place that is cool and chill to meet new people and have a great time!

This is my favorite bar in Midtown. If I want to have a few drinks with friends and hear the conversation, this is the place I go to. I've never had to wait too long for a drink. We can watch sports on the TVs too.

I went to this tavern to play darts with my lady during a weekday and the bartender Eli was really chill and assisted us with everything we needed. Everything was going smooth, until today. Weeks or so later, I came back today and saw him again and greeted him. I forgot his name but had it relatively close. His Co worker, I'm not sure his name i didn't catch it, later on insisted on telling me that the other guy's pet peeve was getting his name wrong and having it said outloud. I didn't know that, since it was this was the second time coming here. The other bartender said something under his breath that was super disrespectful and even went to say that he didn't give a shit about what I thought. I was trying to apologize for whatever it was.. trying to figure out what the problem was. He didn't address anything after. I bought my beer, drank it and left with my group. I'm a patron to this establishment, and in no circumstances should I be getting lip by the bartender when I did absolutely nothing wrong. Another thing, my friend asked if they had a certain drink, he gave my friend an attitude when he said he didn't have that drink. He also did the same thing to me as well when I asked if they have that certain drink.

Great little bar with pool table and darts. Has that Irish pup feel to it. Bartender was awesome. Highly recommend to someone who wants to get off the beaten path.
