My realtor was Matt Moeller, and he was a great Realtor to have, especially as a first time home buyer. He is very knowledgeable and made sure I understood every step of the process. Matt was always available and responsive for any questions or updates. I would definitely recommend his services

I am not much of a review writer, but I really felt like I needed to write a review for our agent Matt MOELLER! We moved from out of state to the Houston area, and he was extremely knowledgeable in all areas of the entire city. He went to many different houses for us, and did virtual tours because we couldn’t be there for every showing. He had our very best interest in mind and pointed out all the flaws and positives in each property he showed us. He was the utmost professional in every respect, and ended up negotiating our dream home. We weren’t even the highest bidder on a multiple bid situation and he still got us the house we wanted! Matt is amazing! He will be our forever agent.

My realtor, Chesley Davis, was an excellent resource. She is very knowledgeable and was extremely helpful in the home buying process. In fact, my mother plans to hire her when she sells her home in a few months.

Our agent was Carter. Our house took a very long time to sell. We dropped the price far below what we had invested. We accepted the offer we received recently. The agency failed to schedule us properly for the closing. The buyers were inconvenienced and ultimately we had to handle the closing ourselves in another state. We secured out own notary, worked directly with the title company and took care of all of the documents ourselves Funding was delayed and the buyers had to do a temp lease. The fault for this resides entirely on the Heyl group. They have failed to respond to multiple emails. Complete negligence on the part of this company and it could have completely jeopardized the transaction. I would hesitate to use this group as a realtor. BEWARE!

We used Mike Malet at The Heyl Group when we decided to downsize from our large Katy-area home. Although it was quite a daunting experience, Mike was understanding, helpful, and encouraging during the entire process. Because of Mike, we priced our home well and received an offer within 2-3 weeks. Our home’s buyer was “on the fence” a couple of times during the process. I firmly believe that Mike’s professionalism, finesse and overall market knowledge, saved the sale for us! It turned out to be a smooth process! The purchase of our new home was also handled extremely well by Mike. His smart, tough negations enabled us to purchase the home we fell in love with at an affordable price, and again, everything was smooth and quick. Mike was always available for questions and advice during the process.I highly recommend The Heyl Group for buying and/or selling in the greater Houston area.

Adam was my realtor for the lat home I sold. I had an overall awful experience with Adam but to ensure I educate future buyers, I have broken down the challenges I faced with Adam in the most professional way I could.Knowledge: He uses technology to drive the buy, which is not a bad idea for a seasoned knowledgeable buyer. Unfortunately, with Adam's utter lack of knowledge, all the value that the slick marketing brings in only crumbles under the weight of inexperience and lack of care. He never had a reason why my home could not sell for months and months, never had any tangible advice, and never really cared to work with me. It was all about the marketing engine...none about the knowledge engine,,Responsiveness: Look - the guy would answer the phone if I called, so high five to that. The issue is - I had to call....He would never call me and offer feedback, updates, tips, best practices, anything..I only received feedback on the viewings that occurred after I was frustrated with the process and the home not selling - then he forwarded me a response from a viewing. He did one...one open house in almost 4 months where he was actually there talking and negotiating with people. Everything was done online, via texting and scheduling through technology. Did not show up for the closing and could honestly(through his actions) care less about how to help me.Integrity: This is an area where I really struggled and ultimately why I am leaving a review as a warning. After 3 months of the home not selling, we finally get an offer for a ridiculously low price. Now - I am desperate at this point, I have already purchased another home and have been absorbing 2 mortgages for months. I had a number that I would not go any lower. So, he tells me the buyers would pay for a part of my closing cost which would put an extra $2,000 in my pocket and get me to my minimum number. I agreed verbally. Once I signed and scanned the agreement back he then tells me the buyer's realtor forgot the check that box and it never was part of the deal any way. Wow...At the end of the process, Adam was basically working for the buyer. He wanted me to drive out of my way to give an extra garage opener that I paid for and had already reprogrammed at my new house...Closing Thoughts: I believe the star rating said it the best - NEVERUPDATE -Mike and I spoke a couple weeks ago, thus I would like to offer an update to my review.Although, my situation was unfortunate, I do not believe that anything was done with malicious intent by my realtor Adam. As a professional myself, I have made decisions that on the surface thought I was truly helping my customer, when in hindsight, I can see why it made people question my integrity. While on the phone with Mike, he walked me through new company processes that have been changed due to my feedback and he also offered professional feedback to help me as a seller in the future.I believe Mike and the Heyl Group is a company that wants to do the right thing for the community and their customers. I do recommend the Heyl Group and wish my realtor Adam the best of luck in the furture. The above update is why I changed my rating from a 1 star to a 4 star.
