My family and I stayed here for a few days and had an amazing experience from start to finish! From the moment our car door was opened and we were offered water before check-in, to the chocolates on our pillows (sometimes more than once a day!), every detail made us feel like royalty.
I work in hospitality, so my standards are high, sometimes unreasonably so, and this stay exceeded every expectation! I know how important reviews are in this industry, and how thankless the work can be, so I want to give a huge shoutout to the incredible team that made our visit more than special.
Thank you to Keith for always greeting us with warmth, and for that next level suit collection! Denise, thank you for your kindness. Lucia and Ricardo, your breakfast service was outstanding. From the pulled-out chairs to the table-side coat rack to the unforgettable French toast, everything was top-notch!
Dinner was just as impressive. Gonzo, Eric, and Chelsey were amazing! I'll be requesting them EVERY time! At one point, Gonzo even removed seafood from a dish after overhearing (without us realizing) that one of us didn't eat it. That level of care and attention to detail is award-worthy.
And a big thank you to Ronny for serving the best carrot cake I've ever had, and I'm a carrot cake connoisseur! Joann and Jas, thank you for overseeing such a smooth and memorable evening.
We felt genuinely cared for at every moment of our stay. I can't wait to return!

We had the pleasure of staying at The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa this week, and from start to finish, our experience was exceptional. Every team member we encountered—from check-in to bell service, housekeeping, front desk, and management—was outstanding: professional, helpful, and genuinely courteous.
Our room was immaculate and thoughtfully designed. The lighting was just right, the bathroom amenities were top-notch, and the comfort of the bed was truly exceptional—nothing could be improved upon in our opinion.
Parking was simple and reasonably priced, and the valet attendant greeting us with a cold bottle of water was such a thoughtful touch, especially appreciated in the Texas heat.
The dining experience was another highlight. The restaurant was outstanding, and room service was both prompt and delicious. We especially enjoyed the pool area, shaded by beautiful trees and made even better by the attentive poolside service, with food and drinks delivered right to our chairs in a timely manner.
We love this hotel and return every chance we get. It’s a peaceful, luxurious retreat, and we always leave feeling refreshed and well cared for. We’ll continue to recommend The Houstonian to friends and family as a perfect place to relax in comfort and style.

Working with Tina M in sales has been a very pleasurable experience. She treats me like I'm in her top 10 customers and I know I'm not. Consistent, excusive service beginning with the valet. Dildar is very pleasure and eager to help with not only valet but whatever I need. The good looking black man, didn't catch his name, is wonderful too and remembers me. This place really knows how to make you feel special in a world where customer service seems to be disappearing. If you want exceptional service and a beautiful surrounding, The Houstonian is your place.

We are members here, so absolutely biased in my response here but we love this place. The upgrades the last few years have resulted in a complete reimagining of the space and the results are extraordinary. The staff are very friendly, the pools and gym are almost a second home to us. They offer a large selection of classes that will serve any fitness goal you may have plus they have a pretty solid calendar of events catered to the social side of club membership. It is a private club so generally not open to the public however guests of the Houstonian hotel have access to the facilities. Definitely a hidden oasis within the city.

I had the pleasure of interacting with Natasha at the lobby desk, and I truly can’t speak highly enough of her. She exemplified hospitality in every sense—warm, attentive, and exceptionally helpful.
Thanks to her outstanding service, I’ll be returning to the Houstonian on my next visit to Houston.

Mark and Chris accommodated my family and I, very professionally. I was there for a surgery meeting, and my daughter and her husband had just moved to Houston, and I was towing a U Haul trailer with some of their furniture, etc in it. They went out of their way to find me a parking spot for my F 250 and the trailer !!! They were AMAZING, and I am grateful 👍👍👍

It is absolutely lovely here. The staff is amazing, house keeping is superb, they even tell you what the weather will be like tomorrow on a card. The gym is great, but you have to check class schedules online or on the screens

Their customer service is AWFUL!!! I just purchased a gift certificate to their SPA for my boss and they were NOT FRIENDLY at ALL!!!! I had asked prior if they had Apple Pay they told me NO and in the end they would not charge my credit card but GUESS WHAT?!?!?! they take Apple Pay! The front desk girls at the SPA had an attitude and where not friendly or social at all. I had a girl stare at me the whole time I was there making me feel like I did not belong and I am MEXICAN AMERICAN!!! so I felt discriminated, I understand that they are being diligent as to who picks up their gift card BUT let's all remember this is a SPA not a jewelry store!!!
