They even charge for a small plastic container with ice, and also for water. They confiscate your water at the entrance so you can buy it, but if they let alcohol through, something doesn't add up.

The place is very nice...but they don't even let in a bottle of water...and they sell them there for 2 dollars. What bad taste...from the owners...

I had the most beautiful last minute wedding ever! Planned everything in one month, everyone was super helpful, on track of everything, and gave us exactly what we wanted. The price was good for everything they offered, everyone loved the food provided and the coordinator was amazing. DJ was not that great, he didn’t really play what we asked for and messed up some of the presentation but wasn’t a big deal. Security guard was very strict even with bride’s family so it was a bit upsetting but other than that everything was good!

I was part of a wedding recently and the reception was held here. We went to this place before the wedding and the bride & groom were having issues with the coordinator or owner. They were told they could bring in their own alcohol, sodas and water. However, 4 days before the wedding they were told they couldn't bring water & sodas. The guest have to pay for them their!! The bride didn't want certain decorations, but the people said they weren't moving them!!The day of the reception it was very warm in the building and especially in the VIP room upstairs. I went outside to get my bag that had my change of clothes, phone charger, meds etc... I put 4 half drank bottles of water in my bag. When I entered the building a Hispanic woman approached me and asked me what was in my bag. I started to tell her and she grabbed my bag to look inside!! How rude!! She then said I couldn't bring in my water. I asked why. She told me I had to buy the water. I told her I wasn't buying any water when I have my own. I then took my water back to my car and returned to the building. That Gestopo woman came rushing up to me to look in my bag AGAIN!! I told her that I didn't have any water! I left it in my car. She grabbed my bag and started going through it! I told her "it's my clothes, my panties, my socks, my charger & meds!" She let go and said "It's policy." I walked off and went up stairs. I told the wedding party about her. I was so mad! Around 9:00pm several of us noticed it started getting hot inside. I thought it was me, but I saw other people fanning themselves. We all came to the conclusion that the people of the place turned up the ac. They made it so uncomfortable that people were leaving. The place was rented until 1:00am!! I left after 10:30pm. It was too hot in there for me!!Did you know that this place used to be a strip club? Sure did! LOL!!Don't rent this place out.

They make promises and lie to you on the day of the event i never thought my quinceañera would be ruined the party bus driver was rude and wouldn’t let us play music he had an attitude i could take enough pictures in the park they kicked out my friends and they had the worst service they started to make my guest pay for there drinks and if u went outside they wouldn’t let you back in no matter what I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hall at all.

The reviews are fake , these people will charge you for horrible food , rush you service they even charge for water inside for the guest after they already had a tab , on top of that horrible service and they will do everything in the power so you have a bad experience after they received payment already , be aware …..

Horrible service , these people will paint a perfect picture then once they have full payment they will bring up all these rules that make your festivities hell save your money they about the capacity of the place and charge or steal from your tab left for the guests

I went to a 15th this past Sunday evening, the place was nice and beautiful decorated but I had to leave early this place was HOT. I heard the guess around me complaining how Hot it was, I even went to check the thermostat and it said 83. Poor host/friend was going around apologizing about this issue and it wasn't even his fault.

We are beyond happy how everything came out. Thank you to the whole team at the palmsEvent center. They took away the whole stress out of my hands I didn't had to worry about different vendors everything was included. We only hadTo take care of a few things outside the package but the big things like food, cake, decorations, security everything was included and made things so much easier for us... I would definitely recommend them for any special event

I do not recommend any place from this company (The Gala or The Palm) as long as they ask you to sign the contractors it is wonderful once they have you hooked on the contract they want to put restrictions on you like they do the sale of soft drinks and whatever Same with the packages they sell you at the beginning and then everything costs $$$$ to them, what matters to them is nothing more than $$$$$$$, be very careful when SIGNING THE CONTRACT THAT THEY WRITE EVERYTHING FOR YOU BEFORE SIGNING AND GIVING THE MONEY DOWNLOAD

My event was at The Palms Event Center Nov. 20 2022, and it was all very beautiful, in particular I am very grateful to Kevin, with whom we signed the contract and who supported us that day as coordinator. Everything was just as we talked about. They always gave us good treatment. I would definitely hire them again. What I recommend to everyone is to discuss all the details before signing a contract, so there will be no surprises.
The only thing I would ask is to increase the waiters when the events are full.
