Everything about the hotel is nice. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by valet associates who kindly helped us w our bags. Hector and Maha helped us with questions about the city and guided us to various locations and very good restaurants.Front desk and hotel staff were very friendly and kindly gave me extra blankets ?. I can definitely say I enjoyed my sleep because I felt just at home.

Stayed at The Westin Oaks Houston by the Galleria for bi-annual conference. Long drive dredding having to unload luggage to get it to my room. Valet Michael P. was sooo professional and courteous! Made my heart happy to get a smile after such a long drive! God Bless you Sir! ?Rooms: Always enjoy my stay!

A really beautiful, elegant place. I love staying here on my first visit to Houston. It is inside The Galleria and it is a pleasant experience because you can walk around the Mall and eat in the restaurants around it.

Great location... connected to the Galleria mall, free parking on the 2nd level, and you're surrounded by great restaurants, including late night options at Velvet Taco. The rooms are VERY nice and large, but the gym is small. The traffic in the area is a chore, but manageable.

We stayed at the Westin for 3 night and it was the super comfortable and accommodating place to stay in the Houston area. We were right next to some of the best food and entertainment for the area. Walking distance from Starbucks in the Galleria mall. Love the security with the destination elevators knowing that not any random person could walk in off the street. Very professional staff and very friendly. Was awesome with helping us with our luggage and made sure our stay was a pleasant one.Rooms: Very clean. Comfy beds and the view from our room was awesome.Safety: Felt secure in my stay with the destination elevators. Knowing you had to have a guest card to access the hotel from the mall was comforting.Walkability: Very central to a lot of shopping and essentials for a stay.

Stayed at the Westin for a conference. Check in was easy. Room was clean and comfortable. Maid service was okay - did great cleaning, but did not replenish the coffee or water bottle a couple of times. The bar was fine but no real traffic. Same for the restaurant. I think given that the hotel is attached to the Galleria mall means everyone went elsewhere to drink and eat. I can't speak to the conference space as my conference was at the other Westin attached to the mall.

I had stayed at this hotel a few times in the past. I was in town with my wife to visit family. It is a well staffed hotel with nicely appointed rooms and friendly staff.

This is my first time staying in Houston, and I was very happy with my experience at this hotel. I arrived quite a bit earlier than I expected and was able to get an early check in with no issues. The room was very clean and all of its amenities were in perfect working order. The hotel itself is attached to the Galleria, which was convenient for shopping and dining (even if the Galleria itself is somewhat challenging to navigate). My only two complaints were the challenges of getting back IN to the hotel from the Galleria (the key card was finicky and I had to be let back in by an employee twice) and the price of drinks at the Street Level Bar (in hotel bar) were far too much for your standard Marriott in-hotel bar. I ordered a double pour of Woodford Reserve and it came out to $32 before tip. The same bottle of said bourbon retails for $38. I would suggest walking over to Del Frisco's for a couple of superior cocktails in that price range instead of a double pour of a mid-shelf bourbon at an eye-popping price.

This is a very beautiful hotel conveniently attached to the mall. As soon as you walk in you notice the cleanliness and friendly staff. Upon checking in I was asked if I needed a late check out. I previously never been able to request late checkout earlier than the morning of check out at any Marriott hotel. I was able to confirm late check out during check in.On the way to my room there were instructions on how to use the elevator which was weird at first until I realized these weren't basic elevators. You press the floor you want to go to, scan your room key, and get inside the elevator when it opens. Your intended floor number will be displayed on the side of the elevator once the doors slide open. There are a limited number of buttons inside, so you can't click on another floor to get off on. Elevators C and D were bumpy. My hotel room was very comfortable and spacious. I was obsessed with the king size bed. I never wanted to get out of it. The floors were so clean and soft I didn't need to wear socks or slippers while moving around the room. You can tell when a hotel is well maintained depending on the plumbing. I didn't hear anyone else's plumbing, which is rare for a hotel unless the rooms around me were unoccupied. The toilet wasn't loud, the water didn't sprout from the sink, and it only took seconds for the water to adjust to my desired temperature. If you plan on staying here on the weekend the parking lot gets crazy after 11:30am/12pm. Its worse after 1pm, but not as bad as the airport. If you use a ride share service allow a couple minutes for them to find/collect you.I really didn't have any issues staying here other than having a room by the elevator. This was probably one of the most comfortable Westin stays I've ever had.

The valet parking staff is amazing. Maha went above and beyond helping me with my bags and getting me into my vehicle. The only thing I would change about the hotel is the elevator system, as it is not exactly user friendly.Rooms: Clean and comfortableNearby activities: The Galleria mall is attached to the hotelSafety: ExcellentWalkability: It’s perfect!Food & drinks: Great access to food and drinks

Very convenient location with easy access to shops and restaurants around the galleria Mall. The only reason is not a 5 out of 5 star is because it doesn't have a lounge, which is value for business a seasoned business traveler.

We stayed from Tuesday to Saturday at the hotel. The reception was very kind at our arrival. She offered to keep our luggage until it was time for our check in. We arrived too early. The room was ready in an hour. It had an amazing view and it was all renovated and beautiful. All the compliments ( shampoo, conditioner, hand cream ) as usual, my favorites. We had an amazing vacation combining shopping, museum, and going to Saint Vincent de Paul’s Saint Jude chapel. We hope to comeback next year.
