Thimble Fingers Sewing Studio is a welcoming place for both children and adults to learn sewing from fantastic, kind, and patient teachers. The staff is wonderful, super sweet, knowledgeable, and always sharing tricks of the trade. Students receive kind support and excellent instruction with great attention to detail. The studio offers basics of sewing classes, kids’ classes, and after-school classes. Students start with zero knowledge and learn a great deal, progressing from simple to more complicated projects at their own pace. They learn skills, not just step-by-step projects, including how to use a sewing machine with comfort, sew straight, understand fabric types, stitches, tools, and patterns. It is a peaceful and enjoyable activity. Both children and adults have a great time, finding the process very enjoyable and the environment beautiful. Students can pick their own projects and are under no pressure. It is a highly recommended place to start a new, useful hobby.
My daughter has been attending every 2 weeks for 5 months thus far. She has made, 2 bags, 1 pillow in her initial and a skirt. I absolutely love the patience they have to teach. She is only 6 years old and I can only imagine how good she will be with years to come.

Enrolled 9yr old in after school classes. She had a great time and received instruction to help her start. She made several projects but what I like the most is they taught skills not just a step by step project. My daughter learned her way around the machine.

Sherry and Jaqueline are so nice and the classes are great! You work at your own pace with their supervision and this has really helped me build my sewing skills and get more confident sewing!!
