We switched both our pups to Thrive and we’ve been very happy across the board.Scheduling appointments is easy, office staff is very nice, our vet tech was fantastic, parking and location are great. Our doctor was very attentive and treated both us and our babies well. He was very knowledgeable and gave us helpful advice.Wait times are very very reasonable. We were in and out of the office in an hour for both dogs (wellness exams, vaccines, routine tests, etc).Prices are somewhat reasonable, especially compared to other practices. We used to go to another well known vet in the heights but it was slowly getting unaffordable. This place is about $10-$15 cheaper for all services without sacrificing on the quality of care.We plan on being long term clients.

Dr. Smollick and his assistant took great care of my cat. It is always a wonderful experience whenever I have to take my cats to them. They spend time with your pets and explain you in detail if there is any cure or remedy that we have to follow for better health of my pets . Highly recommend Thrive at Heights because their team Rocks !!!!!

While I understand I was 9 minutes late, the doctor would not see me and went to lunch instead. I was told I had a 15 minute grace period as well. Disappointing. The red head lady in front was also not very accommodating or nice. I’ll assume it was because it’s Monday.

I brought my lab mix to Thrive for a dental cleaning and possible tooth extraction that my regular vet said she needed but was going to charge me $1000+ for. My main complaint about Thrive is that when you call them it goes to an automated phone service and they can't give you any information. I asked for an update on my dog who was in surgery and an estimated time frame of when she'd be ready and they said "Nope, no time frame. Can't give you that." Very weird?? I didn't love how during her exam they brought her to the back and I wasn't able to see what they were doing and speak to the vet during the examination, that was new for me. My dog is very anxious at the vet so I wished I was with her the whole time.I loved both of the vets that I spoke to and appreciated that they were conservative in their effort to save her tooth-- they ended up thinking it didn't need to be removed and said it was healthy, a different opinion from my other vet who was going to charge much more. I'm glad they were trying not to put her through unnecessary pain. The vet techs were AWESOME as well, especially Linay & another tech who spoke to me in depth after Nala's surgery about her care. Above and beyond! Overall a positive experience, I paid less than $600 for the dental surgery.

I liked the vets and the staff when I was there, but you can’t call and talk to the staff. It goes to a call center out of the country, the connections are terrible and I understand little that they are saying to me. This aspect of the business is so impersonal that I will go someplace else in the future. It’s sad that they let a call center replace the personal touch that is needed, and lose a client because of it.

Took me awhile to write this my boy passed away from Cushings disease .and I still break down cause I miss him . How it went unnoticed is beyond my comprehension after he had been to Thrive and had blood work not more than once done . I was the one that had to request test because of his symptoms . Thrive needs continuing education for their Veterinarians and their staff . Blood tests were done not once a red flag of high liver numbers or cortisol , his skin condition was looked at but never tested . The specialist that I was referred to at the end was all about money and did nothing for him but that visit cost . Now I say don’t get unnecessary injections , read medication given for your fur baby ask questions . Do your research . I remember when I first started to take fur babies to Thrive it was an older Veterinarian woman And there was a technician that was awesome but also left . I just needed to get this off my mind .

This is the new location of the former clinic on Ella Blvd.. The staff here is very helpful. While I would not call Thrive “cheap”, I would certainly say that it still feels priced fairly. It’s 2023 and everything is more expensive. I take 2 dogs here and I would definitely say I am happy with the service and care we receive here.

Loved my experience here and don’t have enough good things to say. The vet was patient, unhurried, informative. He sat down and answered ever question and explain every option for fur baby. The vet tech and receptionists were friendly and comforting. They set my senior dog at ease which I really appreciated. The prices were reasonable and quoted me several different options until we found one that was in my budget. This will be my permanent vet home going forward.
