I'm increasingly disappointed with the quality of merchandise at TJ Maxx. There's not one thing to call out, it's everything in the store.
I was unable to return some defective products at this location recently because I didn't keep the receipt and the manager was not willing to help. It's too risky to shop at TJ Maxx, and especially this location.

Its October and you will find nothing but rags! Sweaters and clothes for winter! Houston does not get that cold! Leave normal clothes up and remove the winter rags!!!

I’ll never understand why some employees are so rude and upset to do their job. I was very respectful and kind whilst asking for a return whether that money went back to my card or via a gift card but Miss Melissa was so rude and mad to do the return! She kept sighing as if I was such a bother all because when I scanned my card it didn’t come up? … So sorry for bothering you while you’re on the clock!

I purchased a bracelet while on vacation in California. The clasp broke, so I went to the store in Houston when I returned. I was told I had the wrong receipt. The manager that evening was helpful. She told me to call corporate and have them recreate the receipt, which I did.
I returned today SEPT 4 with the information. The young lady at the jewerly counter was very professional but had trouble with the return, so she called the manager MARTIN H, and here is where it all went downhill. He is RUDE UNHELPFUL AND DISRESPECTFUL. He asked her what happened, and when I went to speak, he put his hand up and said I'M NOT TALKING TO YOU!!! EXCUSE ME?!?! Then he started speaking in Spanish so I couldn't understand him. I will be setting my alarm to be on the phone with corporate and reporting him across all media. There was absolutely no reason for his behavior. I am more determined than ever to get restitution, and it will be my last time stepping 1 foot in your stores. I know it doesn't matter and has no impact. But you will not be counting my $39.99 amongst your profits. I want my money back. Selling subpar merchandise and then refusing to take it back is diabolical.
18 Sept 2024 - They offered to send me a check to reimburse me for the merchandise, and now I have been ghosted and / or blocked on their platforms. I have never in life encountered an entire corporation who operate in this manner.
