NEVER AGAIN with The Home Depot Gulfgate Mall #6509... The most horrible customer service EVER and I'm Black and fly Air France internationally. It takes 15 minutes for someone to answer the phone and then it's a crap shoot whether that person can string two coherent words together OR where you might be transfered to... Right now as I'm typing, is my 8th(eight, #8) calling in a one hour period to speak with a manager concerning items missing from my order. An in person purchase of METAL FENCE POSTS. Every time I either get the rude ghetto girl lacking in subject verb conjugation skills or placed on hold( the longest is 32 minutes). I would normally just go in but I'm at work and the contractors are at the house. It started Wednesday with the associate that did not know what a 2 x 4 is and called another associate that proceeded to try to argue with me about what a 2x4 is based on the Google definition. Checkout took 40 minutes. Then yesterday, same thing, spent 4 hours from 6:30am until 10:16a to get someone on the phone to complete my order. One time they answered, Tonya at the Pro Desk yelled at me and said, "IS this Christy, Christian or whatever? I have your number and I will call you back when I can. We are busy and it's a line here." AND hung up.. I finally was able to get the posts added to the order scheduled for pick up at 11am. So of course when my contractors arrived at 1:30p, none of the order placed Wednesday night nor the post add Thursday was ready. The contractors waited almost 2 hours in the afternoon to get an order that was supposed to be ready that morning. Which leads me to today and you guessed it, I am still listening to this on-hold recording with this rockabilly music. I ordered and paid for 11 posts. As the contractors were starting the work today, they couldn't do yesterday, it was discovered to be one post short. One post. Ok....someone just answered and transferred me to a manager...I'll let you all know if they answer and don't hang up. Uhp...got sent BACK to the queue. Listen. Don't go over there, it'll run your blood pressure up too high. #homedepot #thehomedepot

Poor service. Had an employee helping out. Once we were headed to looked for the item I was looking for someone stop him to ask him something and he started to help him and left me standing there. I just left.

Service was fantastic. Walmart prices are getting a little high for limited income seniors. The computer app does not search for the specified item we ask for. You are required to search through multiple items.
