Always neat to take friends in to this store, as they have the things you used to find in Hardware stores "of the past". Big box stores carry mainstream items mostly which is good but this store is just a reminder of days past. Neat to look around too. They were the only place I could find a large metal funnel for my Halloween outfit of a "Tin Man"........ everyone els had plastic ones. But seen other things there that are hard to find as well. Worth the trip. Even have things outside to look at, dare I say yard art, haa.

This place is a great hardware store it has tons of things you most likely won't find anywhere else. Fair prices too!

Really friendly workers and great selection. Sells loose screws and bolts of misc sizes that big box hardware stores don't sell. Im cost conscious, but this of one of those occasions I will shop local even if I have to pay a tiny tiny bit more (their prices are very good) over the big box hardware stores and Amazon, just because I like this place so much.

This place is great. It's the sort of hardware store where you can find some weird out-of-production drawer slide or unusual hinge that you'd never find at the big box stores (or if you did, it would be junk).They have a lumberyard too, and unlike most places will cut plywood for you: a huge time saver. The employees vary wildly in their actual knowledge of hardware (if someone can't help you, ask someone else) but they're all pleasant and seem to enjoy their work.

Excellent service and the biggest selection of real hardware in Houston. Turner's has the items that the big box stores con't carry. This is a real hardware store in which the people working there know much more than simply on which isle an item is located. This is the kind of hardware store that existed prior to the days of the chain stores. If this store stocks something, it's the place where I will buy it. If you shop here, you'll tire of the useless time spent wandering around so-called home improvement/repair stores that also sell appliances and candy bars.

I enjoy purchasing hardware from Turners. They have knowledgeable staff who are ready and able to find what I need. I am in and out of there in no time at all. It's worth driving out of my way to shop there and is easier and faster then the big box stores. The selection is amazing, so many more tools and hardware item then stores that are many times bigger.

Turner's is your ONE Stop shop for Home and Industrial Projects!They dang near have EVERYTHING under one roof.Today was Fasteners and Plumbing Supplies to finish out the Duck Blind!
