Reserved a car carrier trailer. Uploaded pictures of my drivers license and filled in my credit card information and alternate contact in the app
Lady behind the counter (refused to give her name) takes additional pictures of my ID and credit card and asks for a second reference. I say (in a normal voice) it’s offensive to have to ask my wife and my son permission to rent a trailer. I understand UHaul trailers are getting stolen all the time but I don’t think it’s the renters stealing them I think it’s because you all leave them out all night. I don’t like that you’re taking additional pictures of my ID and credit card when I’ve already uploaded those. Where are these pictures being stored? How are you protecting my privacy?
With that she denied my service and cancelled my reservation. Apparently it’s offensive to question shady policies. I should just blindly accept their abuse of my privacy and treating me like I’m a thief. Calling UHaul customer service was useless, and they did not reroute me to another center.
Thankfully I was able to rent from another company.
I rent trailers all the time. I wish I had a place to store one and I would just buy one. I understand the need for security but if you look in my records I’ve rented UHauls literally dozens of times and don’t deserve this treatment. Thankfully there’s smaller private companies now that are starting to compete

There is literally nothing that can be done to improve the service/experience I had at this location. The two staff members were kind, knowledgeable of their products, patient, and generally happy to be at work. Best u-haul experience I’ve had.

Second time I have been shocked by the horrible service from rude employees. One young girl stated I would have to wait 25 minutes for propane because they had appointments that might come in. They had one customer, one employee standing around while one guy washed his personal car. Unreal how this owner puts up attitude of entitlement instead of teaching good old fashioned customer service. Do yourself a favor and drive on by.

Horrible services came with a reservation from a different location made right on time before closing gave me an excuse that she closing in 4 minutes. Have an attitude knowing I was stranded on the freeway with my kids and still didn’t care. Don’t recommend at all. Idk people have a job with horrible attitudes.

Very fast and professional service. I was there half-hour early and they still got the truck ready. I was out in 10 minutes. Very polite and efficient team.

Very bad, the super rude and racist brunette didn't want to rent me because she didn't feel like it. She wanted me to rent the truck that she wanted, not the one I needed. You're not going to tell me what I have to rent.

There’s a lot of hidden fees, I paid 100 more than my over estimated miles. The staff try to get you for more, they must work on commission, the equipment was fine.

This place is my favorite to rent a truck from U-Haul, at this time a lady her name Janet was rude , not professional , talks to me like she’s a robot no smiling or at least being polite and treat me as a customer.
I felt that was some type of discrimination against me and my friend while we were speaking to each other’s on different language.
I was not comfortable doing business with her , I canceled the process of the reservation.

When you are out for work, please let it show that no one forced you to work and you mean what you do. A successful customer service happens only when you forget about the bad day or night you had and put a smile on your face even if it is fake.
But there is no excuse for talking to customers in such way that you just had lost a billion dollars in Vegas and now you have no temper for their blah blah.
Mr. Christian this morning mistreated me after I came to pick up my reservation. He had accused me of lying and assumed my name on the system was never name. After proofing my name, he failed to speak respectfully and communicate his intentions in a professional manner.

I rent often from this location and the service & quality of vehicles is always great.
HOWEVER, U-Haul's corporate pricing practice of tricking you into spending more is disgusting.
I use U-Haul a few times a year for small moves of supplies between my stores and warehouse. I specifically use only this location because I can walk to it from my house. Charles does a great job!
I always schedule my rental online and "check-in" ahead of time to save time. I am VERY conscious of DECLINING all the extra services like insurance, supplies, etc. It is really tedious to decline all these add-ons because y'all move show the "decline" button in a very small font and it's in a different location on every page. It FEELS like you are trying to trick people into agreeing to an add-on service by wearing us out!
I rented a van on Saturday and I'm looking at my final bill and sure enough, there's a "Safe Move" charge of $15. I don't recall agreeing to this. It really breeds ill-will to sneak in these charges simply because I wasn't efficient enough in the "whack-a-mole" game of finding every "decline" button.
