One of the best U-Hauls locations in the Houston area! I rent trucks weekly and I’ve never dealt with a team as involved and with such good communication as this one. This is a very well managed location and for sure my go-to in the city.

Absolutely amazing customer service! I love the staff Marcus is one of the best for us and along with everyone else. The manager extremely helpful and always ready to resolve issues. Please disregard any negative comments. I promise you this is the best U-Haul store I’ve ever gone to.

Ordered a dolly and 12 blankets along with truck. Got a truck on empty, no dolly no blankets. Drove back asked for refund on dolly picked up a sack of blankets. Did not get refunded for dolly and got 5 wet blankets. Tried calling and phone hangs up?

People break into cars on this street. Can’t park here. There is glass all down Louisiana. Junkies and low lives scout out cars. There is also a man who stands on the roof at the corner before mcgowen, I don’t trust that loser either.

Emergency move due to flooded apartment. Just needed it for a couple hours, but they did not advise that renting for 3 hours was the same price as renting for the entire day. Our move ran over. We asked for an extension so that total time would be 24 hours and they insisted upon charging for 2 days. I understand it’s the policy, but I would have appreciated an extension as a courtesy, as other locations have done in the past. Probably would not use this location again.

Good experience with uhal but The vehicle was not maintained properly it look like have misfire at speed 40 mph and its annoying while driving and need to check the spark plugs.

Avoid this location. Had a reservation at 8 am and when we came to pick it up they said they had no trucks available. No call before hand. Now we have to eat the cost of movers as the other truck they found isn’t going to be available till later.

Gave my husband a uhaul on e and was expected to return it on 1/4 tank. The uhaul was filthy inside and out. Truck smelled like it urine.

My scheduled picky up date was moved twice. I ordered equipment that was not available at the time of my pick up all though I originally ordered it with my reservation. I arrived at another location just to be told
My truck was at a different location. Service was horrible to be honest. Might not deal with you guys again.

The black male in his 50’s who is bald with a bad attitude 9/29/2024 at 2:30pm was passive aggressive as soon I asked if they take debit card. I presented with a credit card and he said “we don’t take credit cards” and I continued to say it was a credit card and he kept saying “I don’t think you’re understanding what I’m saying. We don’t take debit”. After the third time of me saying that this card affects my credit, is my first credit card, and I know it’s credit; he took a deep breathe and gave me attitude finally continuing with payment. Upon looking at the receipt, it stated “Minimum amount if paying with cash” and “Minimum amount paying with debit” is $100. So I asked about that and all he said was “We only take credit with a major credit card company, you need to talk to the manager about that” and I just wanted clarification about what that meant and he just kept repeating “You’ll have to call the manager, there’s nothing I can do” which is crazy because why can’t you explain your own system if I have to call the manager for clarification…on a Sunday at that so I know there wouldn’t be an answer anyways. The way he was talking was very passive and rude. This is my first time at this U-Haul and it was just uncomfortable. Parking is way too small. Van was nice though ngl, that AC keeps up and has a lot of room. Idk how the other staff is but if I go here again and see that guy, I’m walking out and going to the next U-Haul because his breathe kinda stunk too.

The lady at the front will make you feel uncomfortable and she is SUPER rude. I almost can’t believe they have her dealing with customers. Absolutely TERRIBLE STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION

The woman who was overseeing the store hung up the phone on me several times near closing. I had questions about dropping off the truck after closing. Because of her actions, I had to drop off the truck earlier than anticipated. When I arrived, she was on her personal cellphone with someone. She then tried to get another staff member to service me. She was very unprofessional. I won’t be back. The other two gentlemen were helpful and professional however.
