I rented a u-haul from this location recently and the ladies at the front desk were SO nice and helpful! I was nervous b/c i saw so many bad reviews with neighborhood u-haul locations but this one was great. 10/10 recommend :)

The ladies at Community Self Storage were ABSOLUTE life savers for us yesterday! They helped me with an 8’ truck that literally made our daughter’s move-in happen after the elevator went down for her 4th floor apartment (the only vehicle that would fit in her parking garage!). They took back my 15’ truck even though I was supposed to take back to another location. AND…they retrieved my daughter’s garage fob that I left in the truck. The customer service was off-the-charts wonderful!

Community Self Storage, particularly for U-Haul rental services, unfortunately left a bitter taste in my mouth. Initially quoted one price, I was astounded to find my final bill exceeded it by more than triple. The discrepancy was allegedly due to purportedly overstaying the rental agreement and returning the truck to an incorrect location, claims I found perplexing and unsubstantiated.
Seeking clarification on these exorbitant charges, I reached out to their customer service, only to be met with a shocking display of unprofessionalism from an individual named Tom. Rather than addressing my concerns calmly and rationally, Tom's demeanor quickly escalated to outright anger, raising his voice in what can only be described as an extreme fit of frustration.
My experience with Community Self Storage was not only disappointing but downright disheartening. It's disconcerting when a business fails to uphold basic standards of professionalism and customer service. In light of my encounter, I echo the sentiments of other reviewers: steer clear of this establishment at all costs. The negative reviews, unfortunately, seem all too warranted.

Do not get the utility dolly unless you are moving things like a fridge. I'm not experienced so I just thought that meant it would be bigger...lol. reserved online, picked up truck without issue, the utility dolly was not up against the wall and scared me half to death when it fell over at the first stop light. Now I know to make sure about that.Return was totally uneventful. We moved everything in one trip because I guessed what size I would need and went bigger.Would definitely use again.Thank you guys for your help.

By far the worst U-Haul spot in Houston. They have no customer service and are very rude. They charged me for insurance which I declined because I have my own as a business owner. PATTY refused to give me my money back and told me it was “policy”. PATTY IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND LACKS ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Long story short if you don’t want to be taken advantage of and stolen from refrain from going here.

They saved me when another Uhaul location gave away my reserved truck right in front of me. They were quick and professional on getting my reservation transferred over and processed. Thank you!

First of all I reserved my truck "guaranteed" at 8:30am on July 31,2021. I tried to do the online check in because the location I was picking up from did not open until "10am". I could not get truck share online to work despite multiple attempts, I was on hold with UHAUL for over 50 mins and still no one answered my call. I had to beg the person at community storage (who was opening at 9 by the way) to help me with my reservation. The staff at community storage were rude to say the least. They made me feel as if I was bothering them because I was really needing their help. Every single time I've spoken to someone from U-haul customer service they have NOT been helpful either. I needed dollies; no store had them. Doesn't make sense that U-Haul try to sell so many things to customers online while making a reservation and nothing is ever available. The staff at Community Storage basically told me it wasn't their fault; they pinned it all on U-Haul how professional. I only was having help to move at a certain time in the morning and this delay caused so much unnecessary stress and headache on my end. It is ridiculous to me that no one seemed to care about my issues/problems from both the storage and U-haul customer service side. I do want to let you know I am very dissatisfied with both companies and would not recommend you to anyone at this point, try harder U-haul.

Rude service. This is not an U-Haul. They have higher prices and bad service. They are disorganized and no clear with the fees and prices.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION! Super rude elder lady with glasses (she claims her name is Patty) gave me the worst experience with U-haul. She made me wait 30 minutes to check if there was a van available and after the wait she mentioned that the van was available only for two hours in a very rude tone - almost like asking her for a big favor. When I returned the keys she told me to download an application to return the keys. While I was doing that in the lobby many other customers where returning the keys with no problems. She was playing with her phone the whole time and acted very disrespectful the whole time. Go somewhere else.

Bought some boxes there they weren't too bad but a bit more expensive than some other places
