I had a terrible experience with this U-Haul location. Despite their website stating they close at 8 PM on Fridays, the employee insisted they close at 7 PM. I arrived at 6:30 PM and still faced a long delay. The employee spent over 15 minutes just looking up my reservation and then tried to charge me for the storage unit even though I was supposed to get one month free, as advertised. She acted like the promotion only applied if I was coming from out of town, which isn't true.
After showing her the online information and calling her manager, she finally agreed, but this whole process took over an hour
She took so long dealing with the storage unit after the truck that the link she sent me to take pictures of the truck expired. When I told her it wasn’t working, she just made things up and kept telling me to refresh the page or press again, pretending she knew what to do. Eventually, when I insisted, she called her manager to send me a new link because she clearly didn’t know anything. She just acted like she knew everything, which is dangerous.
When I checked out the storage and found out it's too small and won't fit my items I decided to switch to a larger unit, but that's when everything went downhill. The employee had trouble reprogramming the key card multiple times, and I had to go back and forth at least three times. She even made a mistake that showed a $1000 balance by accident.
Eventually, after nearly two hours of confusion and frustration, we got the correct unit and a working key card. The entire process was exhausting, She was extremely pissed off and kept complaining and yelling that I made her stay 15 minutes after closing, even though this whole delay was caused by her own lack of experience and unprofessionalism.
This entire process could have been done in less than 15 minutes, but instead it took two hours. I should have been the one complaining for wasting two hours of my time that I needed for moving out, but she turned it around and made me feel like I was the one wasting her time and she did nothing wrong.
And to top it off, the truck I received had a Check Engine light and drove poorly. It was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had.

I have to rave about this place!
This was the best service I have ever received in the south.
Diamond was wonderfully friendly and knows everything about her business. Visit this location if you need moving services of any kind and Diamond will hook you up with a smile.

ShaDiamond is a gem just like her name! Getting our rental and items was smooth and quick! She explained everything with ease and made sure we had what we needed! Great customer service is rare these days so I was relieved that my experience with ShaDiamond was top tier!

Diamond was absolutely amazing, helpful and professional. She went above and beyond to assist me. I called a different location and was given the wrong information, but Diamond at this location sorted everything out and got me taken care of. Great job!

Diamond was amazing in helping me even with a last minute change from uhaul. She called me and made sure I was aware about the change AND she helped me with lower cost on miles to make up for the mileage difference with the last minute change. Great service!

My family and I have always used U-Haul, but this location stands out for its exceptional customer service. The staff here is professional, welcoming, and knowledgeable. If you’re looking for a secure and reliable place to store your belongings, this is the spot. The ladies who work here are absolutely amazing!

Staff and the manager is racist and will treat you differently if you’re a person of color. I own a small business and usually rent a big box truck about once a month to stock up my inventory in bulk. Today I made an online res for this location and I regret that deeply. This staff needs to be replaced and u-haul needs to pick and train their employees better. Terrible attitude and they make their own “policies” and SOPs depending on your race. Many of my friends have rented from UHaul before and they didn’t have to provide additional references and never had to verify them on the spot by calling them. They made that rule up for me. It was very embarrassing to have my friends “vouch” for me so I can borrow a worn down $1000 box truck for a few hours. Ridiculous! A big let down! Miserable customer service! And who calls their customers “baby” ? ever heard of professionalism. I guess Uhaul just hires anybody these days.
I wasted my time and energy coming here, I hope UHaul does something about these two racist and rude employees and gets rid of them.
