I shop here a lot. I’ve spent thousands of dollars in this store because it’s an easy one stop shop for me. However this time I was constantly followed around the store by employees who probably can’t afford to shop there. It’s insulting but common for this mall. Just surprised. I simply will not patronize this location anymore because not all black ppl steal therefore we shouldn’t be be treated as if we do

I don’t appreciate how one of the workers had a sassy like attitude when I ask her to assist me with finding clothing in my size . I believe her name was Taylor and when I requested assistance it like she was acting like she didn’t want to help me or she didn’t work at the store. The worse thing was I felt as if she was follow me around the store . I didn’t want to pull the race card but you can tell she and the team she works with is very racist and doesn’t support people of color. I didn’t take the experience person because I realize that hating a person simply for the color of their skin is a mental issue. It’s kind of like not stopping at a stop sign because it red and you don’t like it even if you don’t like the color red you still have to respect it. Now I’m far from a stop sign I’ve been spending money in the store for sometime now and had one of the most worse experiences in this store it’s actually kind of sad that workers who get paid because of shopper can be so ungrateful and have the audacity to be racist or prejudice like do your 9 to five and go home . Leave all your person issue weather mental or not at home

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Urban Outfitters. Not only was the store disorganized and messy, but the employees were incredibly racist and discriminatory. I was shocked and appalled by the way I was treated while shopping at this store. As a person of color, I was followed around the store by one of the employees, who seemed to be watching me suspiciously. When I attempted to ask for assistance, I was ignored and dismissed. It was clear that the employee was treating me differently because of my race, and this kind of behavior is unacceptable. To make matters worse, the store was extremely disorganized and difficult to navigate. There was also an aroma present that permeated the store. I love dogs but the best way for me to describe the smell of the store was that it was comparable to the smell of a dirty dog or like clothes that are still damp and have been sitting in the dryer. Clothes were piled up on top of the racks and the racks were in complete disarray. It was impossible to find anything without spending hours searching through the mess. When I compare over all locations around Houston. I would recommend Memorial city, the Woodlands stores as they are wayyyy better reputable representation. The management of the store is more present. The workers are a lot more mature and professional as well.Overall, I would not recommend this Urban Outfitters to anyone. The store is not only disorganized, but unfortunately it is also run by rude and discriminatory management who do not treat all customers with the respect they deserve. I will not be returning to this store in the future and I encourage others to take their business elsewhere. In conclusion do not waste your time , money here run in the opposite direction. But if you’re too late reading this and you’re already in the mall I would recommend shopping at Zara , Nordstrom , and Forever 21 , Macys as these stores were actually a really good experience and they also offer a more variation of styles; and obviously way more organize and just clean and smell very nice inside unlike the urban outfitters at this mall.

This experience confirms why I only shop at Black owned businesses. On Sunday, April 23rd, the dressing room attendant displayed racial bias when my 12 yr old niece was trying on clothes. He told her mother that she couldn’t go in the all gender dressing room with her daughter. Literally 5 min later, he let ladies that may identify as white go in dressing room together. He didn’t say a word to them. He may identify as white hispanic and LGBT. He had on glasses and jeans with pink designs. He was working in that area from at least 5-6pm. Thankfully my niece did not notice this and was not affected by his actions. The 2 Black associates made her experience worth it.

Expensive but have such a great variety of things. I loved all the miscellaneous and home decor. Clothing was neat and in place which was shocking, given it was during the weekend. So kudos to them for that! They did not have what I wanted but did walk out with stuff I didn't need, so they did their job.
