Lack of parking, long appointment wait times(months), poor attitudes, and over worked. This place is trying but failing a lot of veterans.
Houston is just to bug for just one facility it needs more location to help more people.

If you are a Texas Resident (or lived in Texas when you entered the military)... Google the "Texas Veterans Commission"...they are courteous and work on your issues...not their own!For all of you relying on the DAV for help ... forgetta bout it! They really are a dead-end street!

Stopped by without appointment and was helped after a short wait. Staff was very helpful. This is an updated and clean facility. Plenty of parking. It might be in Houston, but my heart is in El Paso, not really. But I am giving a shout-out to my El Paso peeps, you know who you are.
