Hey I just came to the Valero on Tidwell around 1:45am and was stereotyped as a theif. I walked in with my jacket on due to it being kind of chili outside but my hoodie was off . Of course since I was a black young male I know not to go no were with my hoodie on. So I was asked did I have anything in my pockets when I walked up to the register to PAY FOR MY ITEMS and I was like no what are you talking about. He said are you sure basically kept questioning me until I proved to him that it wasnt anything. Even though I did he still had me locked in the store until I got hostile and threaten to call the police on him. Once he figured out he was in the wrong he was being arrogant instead of apologizing. This was the worst experience I ever got from any store. I never was pre judge walking into the store as an thief. Whats even crazier is that he see me buy from their everyday and had the nerve to make a comment saying people steal from here all the time that’s regulars instead of just apologizing when he noticed he was wrong.
