Had me waiting 20 minutes to return a phone with the receipt for an exchange all he had to do was open my account and input phone returned. I work at night and sleep during the day and drove 30 miles to get to them.

Manager Javier is a joke has an ego problem and the furthest thing from management Ive seen. He was absolutely no help and makes the store look bad. I tried to explain to him my problem and he clearly didn’t understand but insisted he did because he was the manager. I then get seated with help and she then LISTENS and tried to explain to him because the issue needed managements help he has another ego episode and makes a fool of himself where the employee laughs at him and apologizes for him and says he’s is no help(this i already knew) he stands around the store refusing to help any customer because “im the manager” he puts you in line to talk to someone thats it a simple ticket system or waiting in line queue could do what he does. I witnessed a customer ask about and accessory to purchase it and he replied i cant help im the manager and laughed. Then put him in line behind things that may take 30 mins or son to purchase one item he told me personally he isnt there for customer service he is there to sell his exact words. You can tell he isnt respected and not worried about the store look at the other reviews and you can see im not the only one let me remind you im a FIRST day customer and this was my treatment

I have been going to the Verizon store in Gulfgate Center for almost 10 years for a reason. And that is the outstanding customer service I always receive regardless of staff turnover. My latest visit this year was no different. The staff was, once again, considerate, knowledgeable, & professional in setting up my new phone. In conclusion, if ur ever in the Gulfgate area, I’d highly recommend this Version location for ur carrier & phone services. Btw, there’s a Starbucks located right down the sidewalk too.

The big back manager had no idea what he was doing.... I had to call Verizon customer service to fix his errors. He wasn't even trying to listen & understand what I was telling him ( I was there 2 days prior to redeem an offer, he wasn't there that day!). The only thing I had left to do was to return my trade in phone, THAT'S IT, he obviously did something wrong because he was telling me something totally different from what the previous associate advised me. All he kept saying was "I am the manager", while proceeding to tell me he "doesn't know" when I asked him why he was saying something different from the other associate. Don't even get me started on how long it took me to get help, there were 2 busy employees & another 2 employees walking the store saying "someone will be with you in a minute" every 10 minutes, then the humpty dumpty manager came out from the back saying the same thing... Once he saw how unresponsive I was after waiting so long he decided to finally help me, but not like he wanted to. They were very unprofessional. I could've waited a little longer to get the previous associate who helped me 2 days prior, just so there wouldn't have been any confusion. BIG THANKS to the verizon customer service rep for fixing the errors he made on my account and crediting me back on my bill.... He needs to be fired!

Called in for 20 minutes to ask questions, was told I was completely good to get my in home 5G WiFi gateway that day, spent the better part of 30 minutes waiting for this goofy looking dude who was supposedly the only one in there capable of helping me while everyone else stood around trying to look like they were doing something. Finally got to this guy to type my name into a tablet so I can create an account, another 15-20 minutes go by and I’m told “You’re not eligible because of the congestion in the area, sorry man wish I could sell it to ya” (I assure you I spent more time looking at him fail to move through the different tabs on his tablet than working on actually trying to provide support) even though I had provided him my zip and address over the phone prior. No form of troubleshooting or attempts at helping were provided otherwise.Literally went home, visited the website, to instead just wait for it to SHIP in two days (Thanks for free Fedex expedited shipping Verizon) rather than having been able to get it that day, all due to ignorance from that employee. Got it working within minutes at speeds of about 500mbps (Higher than even advertised, and definitely shows no signs of stress, or as he called it “congestion” on the towers). I don’t know if the dude at the Verizon store was just incompetent and thought congestion meant the 5G Network Box was sick and taking PTO that day or he’s just really lazy and ignorant.Only nice thing I can say about the store is the interior is great compared to a few years ago. Finally doesn’t look like it was designed by the most depressed contractor and interior designer they could find that day.

Still just a bunch of folks who know how to sell, basic troubleshooting, and nothing else. They did show me the phone I've been wanting with, what I feel, is a slight push to buy it right then. But they weren't twist my arm and buy already about it so that was a nice thing to see.

I went in there about a year ago & they stated I would get a FREE phone if I would sign up. I signed up & they asked me to sign the documents, of course I asked them if it was a contract? They stated no, however they ran my credit & it was a contract for paying the "free phone" for 2 years. I went ahead and paid off the phone and left Verizon $86.00 a month for less than half with the same service through Xfinity.

Be careful when dealing with Verizon because they do not tell you that if you return their 5G internet gateway, there is a restocking fee of $50 plus tax. They will tell you that you get 30 days free trial period but if you return the gateway whether before the 30 days is up or after, you will still be charged $50 + tax restocking fee. I did not know about this until I received a nasty call from their collection dept that I defaulted and owe them money because I did not pay the restocking fee. When I returned the gateway, I was told that everything was good. No charges. I even got a return receipt that my bill was zero and I had returned the gateway. No further charges and I owed nothing. Then 8 days later their billing department said that I owed them the $50 plus tax on restocking fee. So my advice to any prospective customer who wants to use this service, be prepared to pay a restocking fee. Else just avoid using this poor service. The gateway is slow and keeps disconnecting on its own. You are better off using cable internet and you can use your own router/modem.
