Welcoming for Veterans environment, open arms hug to their community. Today was an absolute clarification of my thoughts with VFW After speaking with Edgar Vargas, he took the time while at the same time setting up today's event together with Combined arms organization for our co-veteran community. He was so heartwarming in explaining how VFW is not only about us Veterans but also our civilian community to come together to network recourses and help cohesively Help each other.

This post has made a complete 180° from what I encountered a couple of decades ago (for the better). Would strongly encourage any Veteran of a foreign war to join their ranks..... and even if you're a Veteran who didn't deploy to war, its still a great place to go and meet, socialize, and network with fellow patriots.
They are also the home of Marine Corps League detachment 671 in case you're a Marine Veteran looking for a unit to join.

Attended a car show and chili cook off at this vfw location. All I can say friendly people, cool vibe and good service. The bartender Susan was very attentive. 💯

Post 9296 has been doing an incredible job servicing it's members and it's community outreach programs. They provide crucial services for both members & non-members to ensure that every veteran has the support they need in their post-military life. Post 9296 and it's volunteers have been very innovative generating support for the post by hosting various events to generate revenue, exposure, & support for the local community.

Came out for a Habitat for Humanity volunteer event and had a great time. The VFW is great and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to attending one of their events soon (pizza night, pool night…)
