Constantly disappointed by Walgreens pharmacies in Houston. I always wait 10 times longer at Walgreens vs CVS. I only go to Walgreens because my insurance makes me got there.

The level of disservice is astounding!
The pharmacist here (her name is not displayed with her picture) has no will to assist at all.
Just giving information to people would be great!
You can’t fulfill the prescription because you don’t have it, that’s fine… you can’t check what location has it and your suggestion is for me to call other Walgreens to find out - I don’t believe you! You just don’t want to be inconvenienced.
No wonder this place has 2.4 stars!

I've been patiently working with this Rx for the past year or more. I have one 90-day prescription, and without fail I can count on this location to not have the needed supply. It's utterly ridiculous. Good customer service involves anticipating the needs of your customers. You would think after a year of filling the same prescription they would know the amount needed, and order it in advance. Well think again. I will no longer patronize the Rx at this particular location. Customer service training is in order. Very disappointed.

Terrible pharmacy. Never has my prescription. Doesn’t tell me when it comes in if it ever does. Ridiculous policy. If I order it. Fill it when it comes in. I shouldn’t have to call back and check all the time.

The pharmacy was very busy but everyone was very kind and obviously doing their best. I lost my voice and couldn't find the right insurance card but everyone was so kind and helpful

If I could give no star I would. This Walgreens pharmacy is the worst. The pharmacy staffs here are terrible and rude!! They put in the system I picked up my medicine when I didn't!! They can't find record of payment for it but yet still claim I picked it up!! Who runs this pharmacy? When my insurance company called to Audit the claim they filed (for medication I didn't get) and asked to speak to a pharmacy manager it was transferred to another line and someone hung up on her. Beware!!!!

Horrible pharmacy staff. Finally found my prescription in stock, had a request sent by my doctor, and was denied my medication because "I'm not a regular patient at this Walgreens location" and she was saving it for her "regular patients". I have never heard of a community pharmacy selecting whom they dispense medication to. The pharmacist on staff today is completely unethical and will be reported to her licensing board.

The pharmacy closed early even though I’d prepaid for my prescriptions, used the app to say I was on the way, and said I arrived in the app at 5:50 when they are supposed to close at 6. The store manager even said they weren’t supposed to close till 6, but they had the metal blinds down and mike turned off when I got there, unable to get my medication in the middle of an allergic reaction, covered in hives. Don’t use this pharmacy if possible!!!

I have to share my disappointment. I have been using this location since my move to Houston a year ago. The pharmacy customer service has greatly declined. I have a refill of the same medications monthly, yet over the past 4 months it has taken an additional week to fill one portion due to being out of stock. As of last month it was 2 weeks and in speaking to 4 different pharmacy employees only 1, just 1, gave alternatives to me managing my side affects of being without medication. Come around to this month's refill, which I go to the Dr., the prescription is sent in, and I'm told I am now unable to refill last mo this late refill until the 16th. Not bc of insurance, but bc they have set a new date i can retrieve due of their inability to fill the previous month. So now I get to pick up one medication on the 5th of each month and another on the 16th bc they can't properly stock based off of repeat customers. And when I shared this is very inconvenient and not at all my fault the pharmacy tech just looked back at me with a blank stare.

The entire pharmacy staff should be FIRED! They are Rude, Lazy and let's not forget Incompetent! I've witnessed this behavior with other customers, and I have been subjected to it as well. The behavior of 1 store has caused me to take my business somewhere else... To HEB or CVS I go!

I made an appointment one week in advance for vaccines and when I showed up they told me I had to come back because I hadn't ordered the vaccines I had requested. They offered no refund or other benefit given it with their mistake. The pharmacist was unapologetic and rude

Called to confirm medication availability. Received confirmation and informed the pharmacist that I head over right away, arrived within minutes to only then be told my prescription couldn’t be filled till the next day after 11am because they were closing in an hour.

I called in and spoke with a pharmacy tech who refused to give her name. She told me I should deal with DoorDash . I replied that I had placed it through the Walgreens app not DoorDash. She repeatedly mispronounced my name. I ask her for hers and she refused. They said it was delivered but it was not received. So I went to the store and met the pharmacy tech whose name is Kayla. They don't know what has happened to my prescription. Not impressed with this store at all! Pharmacy techs tend to attract only warm bodies and no brains.

Person that answered the phone was rude by telling me I could pick up the prescription or not. I was confused why the full prescription cost so much. She could have just told me that the insurance will only cover 7 days instead of 10 but she chose to be unprofessional. Customer service has went to hell.
