I came here for a rabies shot after another Walgreens told me they do not have the vaccine. I had made that appointment at 6:30 pm and was really upset that they knew I was coming in for that day and didn't tell me earlier. For rabies, you have very limited time to get it.
They had it at this Walgreens (3745), but they are not allowed to administer it. You have to drive to someone to get the shot. This is extremely suspicious as the vaccine is refrigerated. I was on the phone with the doctor in the city the accident happened in (I was out of town for a conference and needed to get my day 3 shot as soon as I arrived back home to Houston), and they were worried about that refrigeration factor. He was confused as to why they couldn't as they are certified in immunizations, and it is like any other shot they do. They claimed they only do preventative services not post. Why have this service if you can't do it? Take it off the website or put up a disclaimer. I got to the first Walgreens at 6:15 and I was at the other Walgreens until 8:50, so that wasted almost three hours of my limited time. I should've given up on them sooner.
I have limited time to get this, so I began asking them what to do. The pharmacist, pharmacy manager, and pharmacy tech were extremely rude and ganged up on me. They were laughing and making sarcastic remarks while I was feeling stressed out because rabies has a 100% death rate. I used to be a pharmacy tech, and I cannot imagine having such a lack of urgency. They did not help me. Luckily the medical center is here. I just went to Methodist. They were amazing!

Absolutely awful experience at this location. Came in to pick up a prescription tried to get a walk in flu jab but no spots available so I booked online instead. Returned later in the day and it looked backed up, no sign of nurse, no updates and then they started seeing people late. I was already waiting 20 mins after my appointment time and it looked like they were taking walk ins first. I had to leave to do a school pick up without having the flu shot. 100% defeats the object of booking an appointment in advance. I understand things happen but you have my details so let me know. Would NOT recommend.

I came in for prescheduled travel vaccinations. The pharmacist Jill was lovely and patient with me (I am a big baby when it comes to needles). Additionally her colleagues were amazing in assisting with using coupons to bring my cost down nearly $200! I greatly appreciated them all and will be back for future pharmacy needs. Thank you!!

Inspite this crazy busy location, the pharmacy staff are so patient with all the tedious insurance problems.
God bless anyone who has to deal with our complicated medical system!!
The young pharmacist, Ryan, who gave us our Covid vaccine, was so lovely and polite.

I arrived at the store to do an Uber order and the store closed ten minutes earlier than they were supposed to. The sales associate came to the door to let someone else out and I asked why they closed early and he told me they just did and he could not let me in the store. This is horrible and this location needs more training!

Just had an unpleasant experience at this Walgreens who rang up a discounted product at the regular price and then asked me to go photograph the discount tag to prove it was on sale. I did and he still insisted that it was 'not the same product' and offered me a 15% discount, guessing that it might have been improperly stocked. It was the same product as listed on the tag! Wasn't worth arguing...what happened to customer service?

Pharmacy is so slow.. pickup should be ready in 1h, i come in 2h to be safe.. no, its still not enough.. come back in 25min, then another 25min and then another 30min to get an out of box ready to use solutions.. there are sick people time dependent and pharmacy is not a library

The customer service at this pharmacy was great. After a rough night and clinic visit, we ended up having yrouble getting our script sent to the correct pharmacy. We walked into this pharmacy, Joshua pulled our prescriptions from the terrible W. Holcombe Walgreens and got our prescriptions filled all within 15-20 mins. After a long and frustrating day, that was a huge relief.

The staff is incredibly snobby ...if you don't look like you have a gold card forget about being treated like a customer and if they know you actually rode the bus they act like you want to rob them...

The pharmacist who gave me my shot was friendly, efficient and fast.
