Consistently the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. From the inability to fill a prescription on time to being rude and just all around slow. Would not recommend at all.

I gave them my prescription, they said they never saw it and not feel sorry at all for missing the best period for me to take the medicine. Worst experience ever. If not value your patient, then can’t call it a pharmacy.

super fast and professional! I am really happy with their customer service. The pharmacist that was there was knowledgeable and you can tell she has a lot of experience.

PLEASE FIND ANOTHER WALGREENS TO VISIT-NOT WORTH THE STOP! Middle-aged Spanish Cashier is so unkind and so awful. The manager there will have to pay more attention to the training of the employees. I don't want to go there again

Walgreens was sparsely stocked and inventory limited. However, pharmacy promptly called when my prescription had been filled.

I have been a Walgreens customer for decades. I've been to others all over the US. This by far is the worst I have ever experienced. The change has been relatively recent. It was never great but it was at least decent. But now it is unacceptable. The old manager is gone and they have a whole new set of stuff and they really don't know what they're doing. If you don't know enough to ask just the right questions they don't refill things on time, they don't cancel things when you've ask them, but worst of all, the staff is rude and unwilling to take responsibility for their inadequacies. I have used Walgreens because it is very convenient with the drive-through and their many locations. Also, their private discount coverage can be helpful. But you have to always ask them to use it. Why do you have to ask them to use their own discount plan that you purchased. Also, if you use a third party discount plan like GoodRx, they have the highest prices. Therefore, I have switched to Costco despite the inconvenience of having to go inside and not having one as close by. It is too bad that they can get away with it because I don't think most people think about it because they have insurance that pays for the medication. Hopefully more people will hold them accountable and things will change.

They were so kind and professional even with all the added stress of the Covid 19 shutdown. Thank you so much for being such great and committed people. We need more kind souls like this team. I think pharmacists are the forgotten essential workers in the medical industry. Without them, the final stage of the treatment process can't be completed. Meds make it all happen! Thank you!

Walgreen is a rip-off
June 20, 2020 @ 3:05PM I stop by Walgreens, store #05536 at 2808 Gessner Rd Houston Tx 77080
I purchased two items that were on sale for $13.99, regular price $16.49; I did not notice that I was charged regular price till I got to my destination. I call and request to speak with a store manager, a assistant manager came in the phone and stated that I had to take the merchandise so she could see what I was talking about. I told here that I would go the next day because I was not able to return the same day; when I went back on June 21st about 7:20PM and she game me excused that the sale had just started on the 21st, even though I showed her a picture that the label was there on the 20th when I purchased the merchandise. The manager at the store has no managment skills on how to handle a situation; she threatened to call the police on me because I was claiming refund on the over charge, I will never in my life goin back to a Walgreens stores.

The pharmacist there is very unprofessional and very rude , I went there to ask for advice on my skin condition and he just shook his head and told me to go see my doctor . I went today to go get my prescription and he was being beyond rude . Told me it would be done in 30 minutes and didn't know how much it would cost and waved his hand for me to leave . Will not be coming to this Walgreens for any prescription again!!

Had the worst experience with the older white "manager" at this location. I went to get 3 films developed here and it took them almost 2 months to get them developed. I understand it gets sent to a third party company, just jeez 2 months ? Anyway, i go to pick them up and i pay for them (big mistake. always check before you pay) and 1/3 of my films is completely blank. Just 25 blank photos. I go back to the young lady at the photo dept and i ask her why a whole pack is blank and why nobody caught this. Shes like idk. So i see a manager and I call him over and ask him what the deal was. He apologizes and says they should have caught that before sending it out blah blah blah. Im like whatever its fine can i just get a refund then? He starts pressing all the buttons on the computer and keyboard, talking about "idk why the computer is doing this" . Every time you ask for a refund, they start bullshitting i swear. He tells me it might be because the transaction just occurred and it may not be in the system yet... like what? that doesnt even make sense. its a machine. Im like whatever ill come back later then. so i come back like 5 hours later and still nothing. The manager is gone at this point and its just the d*** girl from photos who was just standing there on her phone. I ended up just getting the money back on store credit because nobody seemed to know how to work a refund. Ridiculous

One of the worst Walgreens in Houston. The Pharmacists can and will refuse your valid prescription for no reason at all then try to provide medical advice as if they were a doctor. Against the law by the way.
