Normally Walgreens are pretty good, this one is absolutely horrid. The only reason I gave it two stars is because it exists and is clean. I’ve lived in the Westmoreland neighborhood for five years and EVERY TIME I go into this store it doesn’t have the items advertised. Every..time! Never fails. The app will say “in stock”…”ready in 30-minutes” lets you order, walk there only to be told they would have to refund you because not in stock. Can call the store and be told by a flipping “human” an item is in-stock, walk there and not in stock shelf a mess and underwhelmed employees. I tried over five years with this inconvenient (because never in-stock and waste time walking there every time) Walgreens, I will not step foot in it again. They may as well tear it down too at this point.

HORRIBLE customer service! Had my boyfriend pick up a prescription for me and he was point blank ignored. He stood at the register politely waiting for the woman who was standing at her computer. He waited a good ten minutes before he spoke up and asked if he could pick up a prescription. The lady was rude, made him scan his own item while she just held up her scanner, and would walk off mid interaction joking with coworkers. Also, while trying to pay, walks off again to help someone else.. just point blank rude. They were not busy at all either. If you don’t want to deal with customers or even fake having good customer service, then I fear you shouldn’t work in the field your in.

This Walgreens is Very Unprofessional, The Staff has Absolutely No Clue how to fill a prescription, I due believe this location should be invesigated with regards to licensing in the Pharmacy department. They have no due diligence in Regards to service for patients.

So... I get it that things happen, and sometimes things like refrigerators break down...
But, if the big refrigerator breaks down, at least make sure the one by the registers is stocked fully (currently they are nearly empty, and that's not an exaggeration). This is just from a restaurant manager to a retail manager, little oversights like that will cost you quite a bit, because nobody wants to buy not just a warm... but hot soda.
It's a small solution that will go a long way with your customer base by showing that you care enough to do a small thing while waiting for the big thing to get fixed.
You can do better, and when it is, this star rating will fix itself!

OMG! Went early in the morning and was greeted with harsh stares and comments about "my people"???? Wasn't sure what was happening but I felt like was going to need to defend myself as one other Walgreens employee looked at me with a look that said, If I had walk in any further we were going to fight " I felt that police would have needed to be involved. I quickly used the ATM and immediately went to another store. To the owners of this store, please take action. Either look at your cameras or disguise yourself as a customer to see the treatment of your customers and the behavior of your employees.

I love this Walgreens Pharmacy on Montrose and Hawthorne. It's a very busy store however they do the best they can. May God bless them🙏💗

The pharmacy staff on the morning of 1/16/24 was horrible, nooo bedside manners whatsoever. No warm nice greeting. I get it, the location is probably busy with lots of silly patients coming in but I wasn’t one of them. I was very polite as I observed the demeanor, facial expressions, and overall communication, but I don’t blame them. I blame YOU Walgreens. They are a representation of you.

They have stopped answering the phone at the pharmacy. The service is non-existent. Corporate greed at it's finest. Shame on you Walgreens corporate. Staff your pharmacies.
