This Walgreens has been a disaster the two times I've been unfortunate enough to need a prescription filled here. My vet called them twice and was on hold for over 30 minutes each time, so I had to drive the prescription out myself. When I got there and told the pharmacist everything I just said?
No apology. Simply took my paperwork and then had the audacity to call me rude after they couldn't be arsed to pick up the phone. I didn't cuss anyone out. I didn't scream. I didn't call anyone names. I told her my vet had been on hold and then I just answered a question that she was for some reason repeatedly asking me. She had an issue listening to other answers, too, and I had to repeat myself more than once.
Rude is refusing to pick up the phone. Rude is refusing to acknowledge any wrongdoings when you haven't done your job. Rude is not listening when people are trying to answer you.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. Long waits. Not enough staff. Just awful.

The manager in the black Walgreens t-shirt followed me around the store because he thought I was stealing. 3:20 PM. Thursday, March 13. Employees were very nice. Sir, you are rude and discourteous, and you need retraining. Perhaps your employees can teach you how to act. I will never come back here.

I transferred my prescription to Walgreens because of a GoodRX coupon, only to find out at checkout that the actual price was *double* what was advertised. I understand that the cashier likely couldn’t change the price, but she also made no effort to help find an alternative coupon or solution. Instead, she seemed indifferent and dismissive.
When I expressed my frustration and questioned her understanding of the program — that I had used this very coupon before, she defensively stated, “I’m not lying,” which completely missed the point—I wasn’t accusing *her* personally, but rather Walgreens as a corporation for misrepresenting prices. I ultimately refused to pay more than I would have at CVS and left without my prescription.
To top it off, as I was leaving, she flatly said, “Have a better night” in a tone that felt passive-aggressive rather than empathetic. If Walgreens values customer service, they should train employees on how to properly deescalate situations instead of making snide remarks. Very disappointing experience.

Not a good store for couponing the app has the clipped coupon you put your number in at the register and the coupons on your app automatically post. The app was having issues so they manually applied the coupons, which I appreciate but my total seemed off. I didn’t want to hold up the line so I paid and left . I checked my email for the receipt, some were applied some weren’t. I went into my app and added the things I got in the store total was soooo off. I went back into the store and asked the manager for a receipts and they didn’t want to give it so I returned everything. When I asked for proof of the refund he also said he also said he couldn’t print out. You don’t play with people’s money like that. I will be couponing at CVS I don’t seem to have issues there.

I had to make a visit here. Most of the staff was not friendly. I was on a lunch break and the cashier proceeded to put me on hold while she was working with another customer that she was already finished with. I will return again for another opportunity to give them a five star.

The worst pharmacy ever! Called in the morning for my prescription. They said to come in. I drive through the window and waited 30 minutes just for the assistant to tell me to come inside and waited in line for another 30 minutes. Then the pharmacist told me to wait for another 30 minutes just for one prescription. Crazy! And I’ve been using this medication for 7-8 years. Wasted my time. I’ll be using another pharmacy

Omg where do I start, if you need to use the pharmacy services please go somewhere else. These people are so rude and the pharmacist her name is Chioma and she is so combative , doesn’t want to help, I’ve never seen her smile and try to be helpful in anyway. The staff working the counter are extremely mean as well, don’t even think about calling because they will pick up the phone and put you on hold for 25m. Needless to say this is by far the worst Walgreens and pharmacy in Houston. Stay AWAY for your well being.

I have been a loyal customer for 20 Plus years, however after the last year every Walgreens Pharmacy has gone down in Prescriptions Never being ready on time or worse several days late.
I ordered my prescription Saturday via the app and my prescription was supposed to be ready by 3 PM.
My prescription was NOT READY and today is Monday and I called and spoke with the Pharmacist and he said it would be ready a few days later.
I advised the pharmacist about my situation and he assured me the prescription would be ready within One hour.
Upon arriving, I was told the prescription was not ready.
I explained to the woman at the pharmacy window the situation and she asked if I wanted to wait 20 minutes.
It is past 40 minutes and not ready

I come here frequently to get my prescriptions refilled, and this is the first time I felt like my patronage was unwanted. The young lady was rude and unresponsive and seemed to have some kind of attitude issue. I will be back, but I think she needs more customer service training. The other associates I have dealt with in the past have been wonderful, but this was an awkward visit today.

The Service gets worse and worse and worse
When it the store was next door to krogers service, staff, trust everything was better. They leave you holding on the phone, etc. And they're rude. Walgreens can close 20th st.location. Going to 43rd. Plus on 43rd you're treated with respect and dignity. You're seen as a person.

OMG.....I seriously don't know if they could possibly try to be slower and less concerned with being efficient. I think my wife is finally going to move her prescriptions to CVS after it took two trips to get a prescription called in 2 days ago. My interaction at the drive thru began with me telling them her name, then having to spell it because their equipment is so junky. Then they went to get the prescription proceed to ask me to confirm the last 4 digits of her phone number. After doing that they tell me the cost and I have to remind them we have a card on file. Seems like all those steps could have been consolidated into a single conversation. Done.

I hesitate to even give them one star. Do NOT come here for your medication. The pharmacy is so understaffed, they always seem overwhelmed and annoyed, they are unprofessional and VERY disorganized.
I was told my prescriptions were ready for pickup over the phone and the very next day I called and they told me that those prescriptions’ refill requests are not even in the system…. come to find out there was a “glitch” in their system and they actually were there. I don’t understand how there can be a glitch…. It is clear this location has had problems for YEARS looking at the reviews and if this is such a consistent issue then this pharmacy needs to CLOSE DOWN.
I have countless other negative experiences with this pharmacy but it would take all day to write them all out. I have truly tried so hard to be patient and understanding but this is honestly unacceptable.
They are messing with peoples’ HEALTH and WELLNESS. This issue needs to be taken more seriously or quite frankly, they may be looking at a lawsuit.

I first called for a passport photo for my baby and it looked like they didn’t like the idea they suggested me taking the passport photo, so I decided to come to the store and the expresión was OMG and they just didn’t want to take it and sent me to another Walgreens. They said that they cables got stolen but that’s not what they said over the phone. They just don’t want to take pictures here specially if it’s for a baby!
