I can’t speak for the pharmacy, however, the store was actually one of the nicer ones in the Huston area with friendly staff and well stocked shelves! I understand it is a 24 hour store so for me I went for the items and I had a good experience.

If I could give zero stars I would…
I’ve tried to use this as my “Go-To” pharmacy ever since I moved to the area, especially since they’re open 24hours, but this is such a horrible experience.
Tried to pick-up my son’s prescription on lunch hour, for the pharmacist to ask me for a “person code”. So, I called while at the window (maybe took 2-3mins to obtain). During that time, the ladies must’ve rotated or been relieved because the Second Lady was completely rude. Cutting me off as I’m trying to re-explain why I’m there… just for her to tell me the prescription wasn’t even ready & didn’t even ask for the “person code” the First Lady initially needed in order to finish my pick-up order. Just said it would be ready in an hour.
Unbelievable experience & definitely will be changing pharmacies after today! No need to be rude when people are trying to be cooperative with your request.
Walgreens Pharmacy’s - DO BETTER!!!

Slowest pharmacy ever. Clearly they are overwhelmed, super busy and they cannot keep up. Frequently told a medication will be ready after a certain time, only to go and find I am asked to come back in another three hours. Unacceptable.

This is the only location that charges higher prices than any other pharmacy even with insurance. I've came here several times with insurance on file and each time they try to get me to pay out of pocket cash first and make it very difficult to get the prescriptions needed. Their service is very slow as well. Didn't even provide consultation on medications one of which needed to be refrigerated. Rude staff.

It’s never easy and it’s never quick. There are always 5 or more people and at minimum a 10 - 15 wait. I get so frustrated when the line grows a they are back there talking. TRASH ASS PHARMACY and the people behind the counter CAN NOT read. Service is not a priority for them. I wish I could give them ZERO stars. They are so nonchalant about people’s medication. It’s really ridiculous. Zero compassion.
Just an update. They are still trash. 0/10 and it’s crazy for this to be one of the best areas to live in the STATE.

Extremely rude pharmacist. Almost made me not want to not even get my medicine but dang I needed it. She was sooo rude tho, if you’re going through pain or a hard time I suggest going to another Walgreens so that you don’t have to deal with this ladies bad attitude.

I'm impressed by the stores cleanliness, safety and excellent customer service. The quiet atmosphere is a bonus and their cosmetic section is exceptional!

Probably the worst Walgreens in Houston, every bad review is true. They consistently tell you your prescription “will be ready on an hour” to only tell you another hour when you come back, or later that it won’t even be ready that day. Called and switched to another Walgreens to have it ready in 15 min and was then met with actual nice people who don’t make you feel bad for trying to pick up your own medicine. Save your time and energy and don’t fill prescriptions here.

Pure incompetence. I had a script for Amoxicillin, which is the most widely prescribed antibiotic. Tell me why they had my script for 2.5 hours and then when I come to pick it up they tell me they’re working on it. Cool, I think 10-15 minutes to actually count 20 pills is more than enough time. Once it his 30 I stood up asked them why it was taking so long to fill a basic script for 20 pills. The tech got an attitude and told me she said it was gonna be 30-45 minutes which was a lie. Not only that but she then decided to talk shot to her coworkers like I couldn’t hear. Then there was a gentleman who came in well after me and got his in 5 minutes. Not only was I disrespected by the tech, but she didn’t even apologize for the miscommunication and not once did anyone explain why it takes someone 3+ hours to count 20 pills, put them in a bottle, and slap a label on it to have the pharmacist sign off. Will never come here again or to any Walgreens for that matter.

very slow, they should hire more pharmacist. but to honest some are fast but others are so slow. kept me on hold on the phone for an hour according to the recording there was only one person in front of me. 🙄 so they just kept me hold for no reason I try again and some pharmacist told me "be with you in one second" then after 5 mins hung up on me.

If you need a prescription filled, this would be a good choice if it were the last place on earth. Start anywhere else first. Service is not in their vocabulary.

So sad to see the only person at the pharmacy is the pharmacist himself. Walgreens should be ashamed to not have more people working at the pharmacy counter. This caused incredibly long wait times to pickup medications. The pharmacist had to fulfill pickup orders, people at the counter, and at the pharmacy drive through. For this to be the only 24 hour Walgreens PHARMACY in Houston, this is absolutely crazy! Unfortunately the pharmacist is probably overworked.

Everything you read about the pharmacy is true. Save your time and go somewhere else.
