Walgreens 44 on Buffalo speedway has to be the worst pharmacy I have ever been to in My Life cannot believe there's not a regional or district manager you can even get a hold of this place really needs help so sad

The store is about the same as any other Walgreens, but this pharmacy is THE. WORST. Incredibly disorganized and inefficient. Months go by and they don't make any improvements. They take their sweet time filling prescriptions called in by one's physician - sometimes days. IF they acknowledge having received it the order - they frequently say they "didn't receive" orders even days after they were verified by a doctor's office as having been sent. Not talking about medications that are out of stock; they can take days to bottle it up even if they acknowledge they have it on hand. Even if they do prepare it, they don't update the Walgreens app - the app will perpetually say the prescription is "in progress," rendering the app useless for informing you if your medication is actually ready, so you have to take a chance and go over there and wait to find out if they actually did it. Then there are the numerous times when you can a notification it's ready, and you show up and wait 20 minutes or so just to get to the register to find it's either not ACTUALLY ready, or they can't find it, because after all this time, they seem unable to come up with a system to consistently stage the filled orders and train they personnel how to pick orders. Never less than a 15-20 minute wait in line, MINIMUM - not counting the times you have to step out of line to call your doctor or insurance back to have them make Walgreens get your order straight. They prioritize waiting on the drive-through customers and never have more than one register open at the pharmacy counter, no matter how many people are waiting. Almost every single time, they ring up an amount owed even if it's completely covered by your insurance or is prepaid by the card you have on file, so you have to wait even longer while they re-do the transaction. Somehow they DO have the correct information right in front of them in the computer, because when you say you prepaid, they say OK and re-ring the transaction, but they simply don't bother to get it straight the first time. If you're picking up a prescription for someone else, they might just get you to pay even when nothing is actually owed - is that the point? The times when the person who finally gets to the counter to learn their prescription isn't actually ready is about to nuke, it brings on a chorus of tales from the other people waiting to die of old age in line, and just about everyone down the line has a serious issue with the incompetence of this pharmacy. People being overcharged because their insurance coverage wasn't checked, people who relied on timely, urgent prescriptions and this pharmacy couldn't be arsed to bottle up their medication, people having to wait more than an hour in line or because they were told their order was ready and it's not. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The utterly unconcerned, chronic slack management of this location conveys that they know they'll make plenty of money regardless of how badly they do their jobs.

If I could give this store zero stars I would. This is literally the WORST pharmacy I have ever been to. The staff is rude and inconsistent. They are always out of medications and there's always a 20-30 minute wait no matter the time of day. I have a doctor who refuses to send any medication to them because they are that incompetent.

Pharmacy techs are slower than sloths. Stand in line with only one tech working the counter. Once I'm next in line there are 2 techs sitting in the back on their iPhones. This is a continuing issue at this location. People coughing in line and sick and this type of shenanigans going on.

The pharmacy department is very slow, unorganized, and unprepared.Every time I come to pickup my meds the min time id 30-45 min. Thats after I received a text that my meds are ready to be pickup. A lot of time, I have to wait 1-2 days for my meds to arrived. One time they asked me to go to another Walgreens to pickup my meds. My husband and I transferred our prescription medicines to CVS..When I am on the line waiting to pickup my med, lots of people are complaining with the time they spent to pickup their medications.Sorry, but you need to change something in your Pharmacy Dept..

Long lines at the pharmacy, no/low stock of typical items, surly attitude of staff, homeless/vagrant people milling around inside and outside. Prepare to be disappointed.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Stay away from this pharmacy! Only filled half of my daughter’s Thamiflu medication and now I can’t get them to fill the remainder of the prescription. They lied said my insurance wasn’t covering until days later which would leave her two full days without medication. My insurance called them and said they were incorrect, to fill the remainder of the Thamiflu and they would cover it. Well I called several times and they transferred me around. I am still waiting and on the phone waiting for over 25 minutes and once it was my turn they hung up the call. I will never use them again! Witnessesed several customers very upset on Saturday night. They are awful. Very dissapointing and frustrating!!

Walgreens has been going downhill for years, but this store was horrible, got great, and now is the worst Walgreens I have been to. They say it's the insurance, my doctors, and NEVER Walgreens's. I waited 35 minutes to pick up a refill. I watched the tech walk back and forth 15 times to find someone's refill. Their system to hold finished scripts needs to be fixed. They haven't been stocking drugs I got monthly for the last three years. Now I must sometimes wait up to 4 days. The store manager doesn't help, nor do these people in the pharmacy care.

I have been on hold with the pharmacy for well over 40 minutes and I called and spoke to a manager saying it's been a rough couple of days so you're a business answer your phone. I will be transferring all of my medications from this location.

Hard to imagine a less efficient or user friendly pharmacy. You’re called and told your prescription is ready. When you arrive they tell it will be ready the next day. Over and over….

IM OUTRAGED!!! I spent over a hour and 15 minutes to get a flu shot! They do not value their customers and all sound so bored. When they finally gave me my shot it was INCORRECTLY ADMINISTERED and I st bleeding a lot! I know I sound like a Karen but I wasted so much time for an injury(minor)!

Pharmacy is terrible. Always a long line and woefully understaffed. Or, in my case this morning, no line and still having to wait several minutes for service. The financial incentive to save a buck at the expense of the health of customers is unethical and irresponsible. But nothing is likely to change, except for my choice in pharmacy.
