Pharmacy never answers their phone and prescriptions are not ready in a timely manner

Pharmacy will just flat out hang up on you without picking up your call. Was trying to get info on a prescription for a 4 yr old who wouldn't stop throwing up; their automated system was telling me it was "in process" for hours. I used to think the Walgreens at Buffalo Speedway and Bissonnet had the worst customer service but this one is giving it a run for its' money. Pathetic.

I always come to Walgreens for medicines but I had a very bad experience at this place, apart from the fact that they open late and not at the stipulated hours. There is a brunette lady who calls herself a manager and she is very arrogant and rude when it comes to serving her customers! I think they should do something about this.

Super slow. They lost my prescription and my insurance and then they made me wait in the waiting room for nearly an hour to fill a prescription that they had in stock.

Had an appointment for COVID shot. Sign says to scan upon arrival and have seat. Did that and still waiting 20 minutes later. Then was told that, despite what sign and app says, it was necessary to check in at the counter. Very frustrating.

Do not go there for your Covid, flu vaccines. Waiting is about 40 minutes!

I always thought the pharmacist was unprofessional to me and others, but the last straw was when she hung up on my doctor calling in a prescription… she also made me feel really dumb for not knowing specifics about my vaccine schedule

I had a bizarre experience where the posted price of diapers on the shelf was $6 cheaper than the price at checkout. The cashier told me I needed to install and scan the app to get the lower price. After stepping out of line, installing the app, and making an account, we tried again. Still no luck. The employee shrugged and said there was nothing he could do.

I have visited this location 2x. Both times the pharmacy told me they will fill my RX and get it ready the DAY before. They say it will be ready by 12. I go pick it up the next day and they don't have it yet at 1pm. Next time told them I'm going out of town I need the RX tonight. 3 hours later still no script available as this lady closes the window "we closed now".

The experience I had today with this pharmacy was abhorrent. I arrived at 7:00 on the dot to pick up a daily medication. Understanding that the pharmacy closes at 7pm, I called pre-emptively at 6:55pm to let them know I’d be getting there right at 7. They already knew the medication was ready to go and all I had to do was pick it up. The pharmacist that answered the phone was dismissive and cold, indicating abrasively that they will close right at 7pm and they would not wait more than one second for me to pull through the drive through. I arrived on the dot to the window being closed on my face.
Where is the compassion and care for patients? The complete intransigence and inflexibility to wait a mere few seconds to hand a necessary, daily prescription to a patient is reprehensable. The reason I was cutting it close to 7, you may ask? I’m a medical provider and stayed extra late to make sure my last patient’s needs and questions were all addressed… even though I’m done at 5pm. I go the extra mile for my patients, it’s so discouraging to know that Walgreens does not. Policy and rules are one thing, but the manner in which it was handled and the lackadaisical attitude that the pharmacist had, was unprofessional at best, but uncompassionate at worst.

Was told an order would be ready at 11, I called after noon and was told it would be another 10 minutes, I finally get a text that it's ready at 12:38 and when I show up at 12:45, I was told to wait for the pharmacist to review it. I didn't leave until 1:08 never come on your lunch break to this location! I work 5 minutes and it still took around 30 minutes with no line
