After trying like 4 stores, I went to this location to hunt for some newly released blind boxes. The lovely team leader from the make up area (not sure if she was actually stationed there or just helping her coworkers) went out of her way to get the unopened box from the back and let me pick out the ones I was looking for. It really made my entire week, she was super kind and I asked if I could call the store later to compliment her, but she said that they weren't allowed to receive comments like that and instead to leave a review. I really appreciate her efforts and wish her all the best!

I am surprised to see such bad reviews for this store. I was there today and the place was clean and the staff members were helpful. Even the day after Christmas, the place seemed organized and inviting. I had just come from another Walmart location and been yelled at by the greeter for using the wrong door (my fault, but poor response from the store employee). I don't know what kind of Walmart Wonderland you guys are expecting, but this store was pretty good in my opinion. I did not visit the bathrooms, so no comment on those.

Worst location ever there is always something out of convinience or an employee with an attitude. I am from VA and houston customer service interactions makes me want to move back every darn day. I cant believe i live here now .One i called was told money center was open. I googled to confirm yup 6am it said on google. Of course I arrive and she say 8am it opens. Why did I call to be lied too? So now I have to wait an hour becaise i drove 15 mins here?I came last week a man with a language barrier was in line for 30 minutes . The line grew to about 8 people after 45 mins the cashier called a worker to translate and took anothr 20 minutes on actual transaction. Why wasnt a manager available to open up another stall while check casher was busy. You have no standards do better.

Terrible customer service. Staff is rude and don't know what they doing The price on the battery 65F shows $98.00 and the manager comes and says oh they had moved the sticker on the battery so he shows me a pricing of a 24F battery and says it's the same! After asking him to provide more info he just sat there and talked to his coworker about other BS Bunch of clowns acting like they know it all SMH

I read all of the bad reviews, but went to this store because it was closer to work. Okay I must admit it wasn't all bad. I went to this WalMart with no expectations because they are rated below three stars. The greeter at the front door was adorable. I love my seasoned saints (elderly people). The store wasn't as junky/trashy as the Wal Mart near my home. I couldn't find the item I was looking for. Spoke with one of the employees and she helped me find it. She didn't know exactly where it was , but she found it. Now to return the video that I purchased two of was a different story. First the lady pretended as though she didn't understand or hear me. I'm at the counter with my receipt, identification and one of the two videos I purchased for return. She examined it and hunched her shoulders. I pointed out on the ticket that I purchased the same video twice. She asked how. Lol. I told her it was an oversight on my part and I would like a refund. She called another lady to the counter, said something in Spanish and they both began to laugh. Well because I'm a character/cut up. I began laughing louder. Needless to say they both stopped laughing and looked at me as though I was crazy. I have my refund. Customer service lady was rude, but the look on their faces when I began laughing louder than them was worth 4 stars. Her people skills are horrible and to call another employee to the desk speak another language in front of an English speaking only person was disrespectful. If they were speaking in their native tongue prior to me going to the desk it wouldn't have been different, but to call her to the desk and start that conversation in front of me like that was rude. I went to my car and returned all of the merchandise (tv,dvd, dvd player, replacement ink, computer, and food items). I refused to allow them to ruin my day. Now go put all those returns back on the shelf!!!

In the department of painting and work tools there is never anyone. You have to be looking for them all over the shopping center and many tell you that it is not their department very bad organization and bad sales management

The location and customers are absolutely foul. The store is as kept as it can be. I feel like the reviews are low because of the customers not the employees. I was also low on cash and under estimated the cost of my groceries and when I checked out I was way over what I had. I was embarrassed and had another person in line behind me. One of the employees picked up on this and told me "i got u" and took the items I couldn't afford in another cart (they put these items back later). I silently told her thank you basically. Also, from what I can see, security tries to make sure people don't steal which is necessary especially in this area. So yea. This place is super ghetto, but this is on the customers not the workers

Service is terrible. Worse even than most Wal-Marts. I will never set foot in here again. Yesterday, despite my disabilities, I was treated like a shoplifter or criminal. I ended up extremely upset and wouldn't be surprised if I ended up on YouTube or someplace as a Karen. And I don't care! They pushed a normally easy-going, friendly and nice person over the edge with their bs. And they lied about it. They basically told me they didn't care and made it clear. No one deserves to be treated like I was treated. I am DONE.

This store has terrible customer service by workers on the floor. I was out shopping at the Dunvale Walmart, because it was close to where I was at, at the time. It was late in the evening and I could not get anybody to help me in the paint department. I asked three workers if they could call someone for me, one person with a radio, one person with a phone and one person organizing. They all said I had to go up to customer service (way up in the front) and ask. I asked if they could call someone for me and they all had an excuse, my radio only calls security, or my phone doesn't work. I asked another man for assistance, and he said he would call someone so I waited and waited and waited. So finally I went to customer service from the very back corner of the store in paint, no one came. The men stocking had seen me waiting for a very long time. They were the ones that put down their pallet jacks aside to find the key for the paint cabinet. One guy finally got the keys and assisted me and about 3 others that were waiting as well. In total, waited for about an hour and a half trying to get someone to help. I will never go back to this store again.

They will not accept defective returns and want you to go back to the original store. Now Walmart corporate has no idea about this policy so it's a store thing. At least that's what corporate tells me. The staff is asleep at the wheel with policies that make no sense, and obviously they are not consumer friendly. So if I buy something in another state, I'm supposed to drive back or fly back, to that state if the item they sell me is defective???? Walmart Dunvale needs checking !

The worst customer service I've ever gotten in my entire life. Me and my husband were there trying to get a pregnancy test, we asked three different workers, if we can get into the security box. They responded that we have to go to the front desk, seeing that we were in a frantic shock. The lack of self-care customer service and all around empathy is ridiculous. I wouldn't come here this is the last place available.

Probably one of the best places to shoplift hands down because the employees in key positions - and whoever's responsible for collecting shopping carts - are too busy focusing their energy on everyone except themselves and their shortcomings. There were no shopping carts on the side of the store I entered earlier today (and just one shopping cart available as I exited the same side of the store after my ordeal). Whenever I walk to do my grocery shopping, I always bring a utility cart, put it under the store's shopping cart while I shop, exit the store with my paid groceries in the shopping cart, then put my paid groceries in my utility cart. Today, I used my utility cart to do all of my shopping. It has a black fabric liner that I can attach inside the cart to prevent its contents from falling through the sizable gaps. But because I was going to be carrying things I hadn't yet paid for, I didn't attach the liner inside the cart while I shopped which, by the way, meant that I had to shop according the size and weight of the item so nothing would fall through the gaps between the wires or get squished by heavier items. So inconvenient. When I got to the register to ring up my groceries, I was careful to put everything in Walmart's gray plastic shopping bags after scanning them because I knew that they check receipts at the door for unbagged items, and I didn't want to deal with that using my utility cart instead of a Walmart shopping cart. So, like, I even put the 5 pound bag of potatoes I bought in a plastic Walmart bag. Now, they're not overseers, but you know the employees at Walmart who stand at attention at the end of the self-service cash registers? The only one on duty was watching me like a hawk even though I wasn't the only customer ringing up groceries. The one or two times someone needed her at another checkstand, she'd go help them but came RIGHT back to the register where I was ringing up my groceries on the last of my twice-weekly trips to Walmart. Whether she was following Walmart's policy or that of her imagination, I felt like "good because she saw everything I did, so what could happen with behavior that ugly?" So I finally lined my utility cart while at the register I was using, and I placed my bagged items inside. I took my receipt and was given a farewell by the Walmart attendant who absolutely needed to stand near the register I was using for nearly the entire time I was ringing up my items (Whatever, b---h. Bye.). I walked away from the cash register I was using and headed for the doors I first entered so I could leave. I immediately heard the Walmart employee at the exit door say "receipt" with her hand out. I asked her to repeat herself, and when she did, I told her to get her manager because I wanted a refund. Because she didn't hop to it, asking for receipts from the shoppers who were leaving - including a man who had everything bagged #FoolsBeTrippin - I got on my phone to google Walmart's phone number to call in my complaint. I mean, first of all is Walmart effing kidding me calling themselves a supercenter but not making shopping carts available at both entrances, forcing customers to waste their time looking for them, which I was NOT going to do? It's bad enough that we customers here are lucky enough to push a shopping cart effortlessly instead of as if we're walking through sand or on a rough cobble-stoned road. And now they're just not going to be available unless the customer in need looks for one. *eye roll AND middle finger emojis* Excluding the few months I was grocery shopping elsewhere, this was the first time there weren't any carts on the side of the Walmart I entered since I first started shopping there last May. "How did Walmart decide to hire someone who was clearly too sexy to do their effing job?", asked the woman who had a stint at a grocery store and collected carts all over her employer's property to make them available at the front of the store for customers b
