Sofía! With an “F” was absolutely amazing! I didn’t forget about you girl sorry for the late review. However, I came in here to get some coins for my Vending machine, and was super confused how many coins came in each slot. She was very helpful and attentive, and had a great sense of humor and kept me calm during my frustration. She was very knowledgeable on other questions and items I needed while at the bank. This was an overall great experience, and made my time there short and enjoyable.

I had an appointment on July 10th with Daniel Martinez at the Sawyer Heights location to open an account for my sibling who is 16 years old. When we arrived and were seated in Daniel’s office I told Daniel I had all necessary documents to open my brothers account; social security card and birth certificate. Although, I had these documents and I am a relative, Daniel denied us the ability to open the account. Daniel insisted we needed my brother’s school ID to open his account, which seemed very odd to me. A SOCIAL and BIRTH CERTIFICATE should suffice. Daniel left the office twice to go speak with his “manager” regarding me being his sibling and then another time to ask if the documents would suffice and each time he came back with bad news. I left upset and confused as I thought to myself how ridiculous it was for him to say my brother needed a student ID even though I provided the most important documents an individual can have. Then I called the River Oaks location and asked if the documents I had would suffice and they confirmed they would. They even said these documents were “perfect”. The very next day I went to the River Oaks Wells Fargo location and opened up my brothers account with no issues whatsoever. I can’t help but to think the denial was racially motivated. This is stated on Wells Fargo’s website; “Minors without a primary ID need to be accompanied by an adult co-owner who is a relative or guardian, and bring identification such as a Social Security card, birth certificate, or student ID.”

Took forever (17 minutes)to make a deposit at the drive thru, they had a single teller dealing with us. Then, I'm told my deposit will be in hold for 4 days! Why? My signature matches the name in the check but not the one in file. Bob, being a diminutive of Robert, was unknown to the teller and her manager. I used a printed deposit slip from my checkbook and it wasn't a help, what fraud would I be attempting after being with them since 1968!

Would never recommend.
Had a terrible experience here yesterday. My checking account had been changed over to Premier and the banker there said I needed to come in—in person—to change it to Prime checking.
I made an appointment to do so leaving work early only to find myself in a meeting with the banker and and a financial advisor. Instead of helping me with checking account issue the financial advisor began a financial planning session—which I did not ask for. I stated I was only there for the checking account change however they still tried to aggressively sell me on their financial products despite my saying I am not interested. No offense but I have personal financial advisors at 3 institutions already all working together. I don’t need a branch advisor from Wells Fargo added to the mix—which I communicated. The financial advisor then again tried to get me to move money into WF and insinuated I would not receive excellent service if I didn’t consolidate my holdings the the bank.
I ended the meeting. The banker then took me to his office where he showed me on my own Wells Fargo app how to change to Prime Checking. I did not need to come in person and I felt like I was baited and switched to have a meeting I never agreed to have.
I’ve been a customer of this bank for decades and always a supporter even in the less than great times the bank has had. This has me rethinking that.

Atm would not take my cash, went inside, 2 tellers. One chose to count Dow her drawer while I was still in line and the othe teller assisted another customer. I asked for a manager as I'd been waiting over 15 min to make a deposit with only one person in front of me. The woman locking the door said she couldn't help because "it's not her branch" when I asked for a manager she refused and said she's in the restroom. The teller, Tamera who helped me was actually very nice and polite.
