Thursday I went to this branch to deposit a check from my family's trust fund. The check was distributed by PNC Bank however I had just opened my account days prior with Wells Fargo. I knew it could possibly be a complex issue with my out of state driver’s license, it being a new account and the amount I understood what the process would be. When I went to teller I explained to her the situation and the amount of the check. I explained to her that I wanted to DEPOSIT it in my account. I told her I knew the process of holding the check to verify it and I am okay with that, whatever the time limit would be is fine. She ran my check thru the machine and stated they needed to call to verify it. I told her that was totally fine. The manager comes out to look at the check. I’m explaining to her the same thing and she barely engaged with me, she wasn’t welcoming at all. I had the feeling of discrimination. However I went against my gut. I waited for over 15 mins just to be told no one is picking up and they cannot deposit my check. I’m thinking the time of day maybe the verification team is on lunch. I came the next day right when they opened thinking it’s early and someone will answer when they call to verify it. Again the same teller that helped me the day prior said they would have to call to verify it I’m like that’s fine. She goes in the back 10 mins later she tells me no one is picking up. I’m like really. I tried two other branches the one I-10 East by the Home Depot and the one off Garth Rd in Baytown. I was treated the same I feel the manager at the Woodforest Blvd branch flagged my account about the check I was trying to deposit. Yes I understand it’s a new account with no activity as well as the DL and the amount. However my account is open I have a legit DL and the check is legit. So why did yall make it so impossible to DEPOSIT a check that was written out to ME with my account in my name and hold the check until it’s verified?? It’s fine though I got it handled. Woodforest Bank on Woodforest Blvd help me open an account and had absolutely no problem depositing my check. They were welcoming excellent customer service and didn’t judge a book by its cover 🤷🏽♀️. For your banking needs go to WOODFOREST BANK on Woodforest Blvd! They will have you covered and the process is quick! Ask for Shawna(mid aged white lady) just amazing. Oh and I will be reaching out to corporate about this situation. I hope no one else has to endure what I did. I know y’all will respond with send us an email to so we can get this resolved. Don’t bother I went to the same branch on Woodforest Blvd with my Woodforest bank new account folder and closed my account with y’all. But she quick to close my account with no problem girl bye. The best bet for this branch is to clean house and find people that don’t discriminate. Good day to you all ✌🏾

Clearly racist and make up any excuse not to serve black people. They made me wait an excessive amount of time to speak with a banker, but assisted someone else who came in to dispute a fraudulent transaction, which is handled with a banker as well. Then they came up with another excuse as to why they could not sign a document which I was not told before. Keep in mind I’ve had a letter signed here before so I know what I’m talking about. They are super slow and if you don’t look like them, they won’t make you priority nor will they make an exception for you.

I came to the drive thru to make a deposit and make withdrawal. I also send in some mutilated money. The teller did not accept my mutilated money and send it right back to me with no explanation. Very un called for.

This is THE worst Wells Fargo by far! Everytime I go there, and I mean EVERY SINGLE TIME, there's a problem. Either the ATM is not working, (there used to be two ATM machines, but they took one out) so the line for this machine is always super long! There is Always ONLY ONE person working the motor bank as well as inside the bank. ONE TELLER WORKING the motor bank and also inside the bank. That makes no sense. The lines are always long because of this! Now, the Wells Fargo app is impossible to login on! Thanks for the ride Wells Fargo, leaving you for another bank! Peace!!!

This location is the worst i have ever dealt with after 18 years I have been a customer. They refused to allow me to withdraw even though I have 5 times that amount cleared. The associate manager (Lizet Perez) was rude and didn't provide a proper answer nor make an effort to her job. I had to go to the other location on I10 which was very helpful. This location needs serious customer service training which is clearly being ignored based on reviews here.

I give them a 0, the more aragones people they work for. Oh, if they don't help with anything, starting from the Manager and the bankers help whoever they want, now it turns out that everything is by Appointment and the bank is all empty without a single person and they don't help the few people. What arrives for me would work with an appointment when they are full but there is no one and they still tell you it is with an appointment people don't take care of their work and the truth is that this branch all the employees are useless I already said starting from the Manager that she arrives well mutter I'm sorry I can't do anything, these are the rules

Worst bank in history... tellers don't care about people or their families..... managers only care about how many billions of our hard earned dollars goes into their pockets.. wouldn't even cash a check from Wells Fargo because I'd is expired ? instead of saying sry or trying to figure out another way to proceed teller decides to laugh in my face and make me feel worse than I already felt about the hole situation. Just for reference the check trying to be cashed was so I could go renew my license yayyyy thanks wells fargo

I have received the most helpful customer service in this bank from Mrs Nikki who had the patience to help me with everything I needed . I went twice to bother her with some paperwork and both times She assisted me with a positive vibe and kind .
