I visited the Xfinity store at Kirby,Houston today, and I was really impressed by the support I received from Vu. He was very informative and took the time to thoroughly explain which internet plan would suit me best. I just want to express my appreciation for his excellent service.

I came to this Xfinity store quiet a few times to troubleshoot my internet equipment, mobile phone problems and selecting the best phone plans etc. all the staff was knowledgeable with solving my problem. ?. Today I came in to start a new home service. Mustafa signed me up for it in no time, efficient and quality service. ?

I want to take a moment and thank the staff at this location, specifically Mufasa (yes, ? THAT Mufasa). I had gone in for what I thought was a really cheap promotion only to learn that it was for people who are receiving government benefits or elderly people which I qualify for none (although my joints feel like I am). Back to the review: he quickly informed me of my potential decisions: we're talking I was in and out of that store in 20 minutes which is unheard of and yes, it was an upsell but it was an upsell that I ACTUALLY needed. That's the thing, he first asks you the questions of what you want to use your internet for. He shows you the best options (just bring the gamer kid in) and I got the best! He was able to put together a package including television which is only $20 more for a total of $80 and we're talking about cheap super high speed internet. TV was easily programmable and I got AMC Free & I got the Latest modem too. Mufasa just got married and is at work as we speak. That is called dedication to your job. He may not own the store but he sure is working hard and likely one day will own an Xfinity store because people like him succeed in this world because they know how to honestly connect with people. Congrats to the marriage & I am so sorry to his wife that he is working but he is providing a wonderful life I'm sure. If a manager happens to be reading this I think it is time for Mufasa & the other employee to get a pay raise, or at least a bonus. I say that because I never let anybody upsell me. After my split w/ my partner I have to do everything on my own including getting the internet turned on the electric and all the stuff and the only good thing I can say about this is I got a great house at a great price & internet ! Hold on to Mufasa. I am just grateful that there are people out there willing to go above and beyond 15 minutes before the door closes and the lights go off at the store. Here's a tip: they don't take cash so make sure you have your credit / debit card (or #) on you. I paid $25 and that was just for the initial setup. My location was already Wi-Fi ready so it was literally a plug and play basically type deal. I had that stuff done in like 5 minutes. But Mufasa put me in such a good mood that I went home knowing that I got the best rate & the highest speeds possible for my finances. He made my day and my son and my daughter and my dogs (we play animal planet when we're gone for more than an hour for the dogs). and this package allows me to do that too without worrying about running low on speed. I want you to look at my rating which is a five ⭐. I give out almost all five stars to places I go that truly deserve them - if they don't deserve them I do not give them reviews and I just do not review them because it could have been me or it could have been them. I don't know but here's what I do know : you go into that store and you ask for Mufasa or his friend which I do not know his name but he looks like a muscular bodybuilder type dude. Anyway the store was impeccable. I was watching them cleaning as they were closing the store and they took their time on every single device and made sure that it was free of fomites (fomites are a virus family that can survive on surfaces for a certain period of time and infect whoever touches said surface object). I am delighted and I want you to be delighted too. So again go see Mufasa at this location and stop and get your nails done too. Just two doors down there is a beautiful nail salon which I plan on visiting when I get my tablet for my daughter. And let's not forget that they have a phone plan deal. At this moment I am sticking with my current plan even though Xfinity will allow you to switch your number over, I just like to keep my bills separate so that I don't get overwhelmed and get behind on bills but ask them about their phone plans / family plans and you are going to have your socks knocked off on pricing.

THE WORST AND MOST IGNORANT XFINITY COMCAST SERVICE CENTER. THE UNTRAINED PERSON, WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE OF SOLVING PROBLEMS. THEY TAKE YOUR TIME. THEY ARE SHAMELESS. THEY MAKE FUN OF YOU. THEY DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE ESTABLISHED CONTRACTS, THEY MODIFY THE PRICE OF THE CONTRACT AND THE MONTHLY AMOUNTS. NO EMPLOYEE KNOWS HOW TO READ THEIR ACCOUNT STATEMENTS. THEY CALL 888 9449513 AND THE ONE WHO ANSWERS DOESN'T EVEN KNOW HIS NAME. IT DOES NOT DO ANYTHING IT JUST TAKES UP YOUR TIME SO YOU GET DESPERATE AND THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU ANY OPTION TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM, THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU ANY TRACKING NUMBER (...WHICH HAS TO BE AUTHORIZED BY YOUR BOSS)
AND FINALLY, AFTER THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY, THEY TAKE AWAY FROM YOUR TIME, THEY TELL YOU THAT YOU OWE THEM WHEN THEY CHARGE 5 MONTHS IN ONE PAYMENT. WHEN IT SHOULD BE DOMICILED MONTHLY.
ALL THE STAFF VERY IGNORANT!
TERRIBLE DON'T EVEN COME TO VISIT THEM.

Avoid at all costs!!! Horrible customer service at this store. Employee was rude, condescending and refused to address the issue. This is reason enough to drop Xfinity, but combined with multiple service outages in the past 60 days - I will be getting a new service provider right away.

Excellent service from Conor at the Kirby branch in Houston. He took care of the transfer from MINT to Xfinity Mobile quickly and seamlessly. Kudos to the staff at this branch for handling all the problems experienced by customers caused by Hurricane Beryl in Houston. I changed from Mint to Xfinity because my daughter's Xfinity cell phone had service during and after the hurricane! TQ so much CONOR for your hard work and hope Xfinity promote you to manager soon:)

I live in medical center, Kirby Drive and N Braeswood Blvd intersection (zip code: 77030).
Horrible internet, cable, home security, etc. provider!! Inability to talk OR chat with a customer service representative. I live in Houston and even with relatively small storms the internet will go out for days. I live in a condominium complex and owners with Verizon, T Mobille, AT&T, etc will have minimal or no service interruptions while I am without internet for days if not week(s).
Tropical storm Beryl wiped out XFINITY (but not others, like Verizon and T mobile) services for many people in the Houston area on 7/8/24. It has been 5 days and Xfinity sends generic, vague messages regarding their restoration efforts; do not give anticipated date or range of dates for service recovery based on location; lack the service staff and technician volume required to fix damages to their network; have a poor network infrastructure that is easily prone to weather-related damage irrespective of the extent of the damage!
PLEASE DON'T GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY. THEY ARE A DISGRACEFUL COMPANY! Go with another provider.

This store opens when every others loved after the hurricane. I drove around almost half of Houston and finally get service here! And the service is pretty good and nice!
