11-13-2023 for the prices they charge, you better bring a bankroll when you go shopping in here. Can't really tell if anything is really antique or authentic. They do have some fine or at work and Chinese artifact like objects.

This boutique-style and exclusive Eastern culture antique shop gets 5 stars not only for the inventory but also for the owner. A descendant of antique experts, his knowledge of Eastern history, culture, and cooking made this experience memorable. A look and leave trip misses the best part of the experience. Tell the owner, Kris says, 好 [Hello]."

I drive across Houston and arrived 1 hour and 15 min before 8 pm closing time (posted online and on door as the closing time) and shop was closed. Looks like they have cool antiques but this is really a frustrating situation. 1 star until they redeem themselves.

There are so many treasure to go through at Yang Win Gift Shop. But it's way too crowded inside. I hope to come back when the aisles are safe to walk on.

The merchandise you see in the store is very unique and rare collectibles. However, they are not antiques in a typical antique shop. Some items at Yang Win ç æˆ Gift Shop are pricey because they're carefully handcrafted and stored in perfect condition. The store has been maintaining with the right temperature and humidity as the hardwood loves. When you walk in the store, expect to see lots of warning signs "don't touch" ä¸è¦æ‘¸. No kidding. Our hands have oil, unless you wash them with soap well. Oil and sweat would damage the luster on the wood. So, just look. The shopkeepers speak Chinese Mandarin and Cantonese. I've never seen anyone other than Chinese come in. So, I don't know how they interact with you. I often come here to buy "high end" gifts with Chinese taste. But they tend to leave me along. That's okay. Just lately, the temperature is rising outside. There's no change inside. So I sweat more than ever. Oh well. I'll come back when it's cooler.

This little shop has lots to offer. If you're a collector, they've got more Buddha and lucky cat figurines than anywhere else, plus lots of other nice asian items.
