Earlier before Christmas: I wanted to take a moment to recognize Justin at the Memorial City Mall Zara. I came in earlier this week to do online returns, and Justin truly stood out. Returns can sometimes feel awkward or rushed, but he made the entire experience smooth, comfortable, and genuinely pleasant. He was patient, kind, and very attentive throughout the process — not just completing the transaction, but engaging in friendly conversation and creating a relaxed, welcoming environment. He never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable, even with multiple items, and his professionalism and positive attitude made a big difference. Everyone I’ve interacted with at this location has been helpful, but Justin’s warmth and customer care really left an impression. He went above and beyond what’s expected and made what could’ve been a stressful errand feel easy and enjoyable. Employees like Justin truly deserve recognition for the experience they create. Definitely deserves a raise!
12/26 around 5-6pm- I wanted to also take the time to recognize Vi behind the register at Zara because she ALSO truly stood out during our 2nd visit after Christmas. We had several online returns (as Zara’s in-store inventory can be limited compared to online), and anyone who shops there knows returns can feel awkward — you worry about holding up the line, being “that customer,” or making the process harder for the employee. From the moment we stepped up, Vi completely put us at ease. She was incredibly patient, warm, and kind, and made the entire experience feel genuinely okay. Beyond just processing the returns efficiently, she engaged in friendly small talk, was sweet and approachable, and never once made us feel rushed or uncomfortable. Her energy was calm and reassuring, and it honestly made a potentially stressful situation feel easy and pleasant. It was clear she truly cares about people and customer experience, not just getting through transactions. Customer service like that is rare and deserves recognition. Vi was wonderful, and she absolutely deserves praise (and honestly, a raise).

When I walked into this store had I known it would shave years off my life I may have refrained. They have really chic and unique things which I like, but I’m not sure if the cashiers have to manually type in each clothing item because I’ve been standing in line for what feels like an eternity. There was 6 people ahead of me when I first got here. My legs have gone numb. I’ve all together forgotten the original reason I’ve come to the mall. Also the people that work here are a bit.. unfriendly.. however I don’t blame them bc I don’t want to be here any longer either. Where time stands still. But at this point I’ve got to see it through. Why did I even leave the house today? I remember I was Christmas shopping… and then I found this cute shirt dress and I thought “hey treat yourself..” but I suppose this is the only thing I’m purchasing today because it has gotten dark, the mall must be closing soon. I’m hungry and thirsty. My family must be missing me. Anyway, shop in the online store because this experience is not one I would recommend to a friend.

Today I had one of the most disrespectful experiences I’ve ever had at Zara.
I went to the self-checkout with only one item (a pair of earrings). I wasn’t carrying a purse, a bag, or anything else. When I paid, the machine suddenly charged me $125 for two items I never had. I immediately informed the staff.
An employee came to help and called the manager. From the moment she arrived, she refused to look at me, spoke in a rude tone, and acted as if I was already guilty of something.
When the employee explained the machine had added two items I did not have, she kept pressuring him, repeating over and over:
“But you didn’t see her? Are you sure you didn’t see her with the items? You weren’t there?”
She said this while still refusing to look at me, as if trying to push the idea that I was hiding something.
At that point, I spoke up and told her directly, right in front of both of them:
“I only have the earrings in my hand. I have not left the store. I am not carrying anything — I have NOTHING with me.”
She completely ignored me. No eye contact. No response. No apology. Nothing. She just walked away.
Her attitude was extremely humiliating and clearly implied that I was lying or trying to steal — without any evidence and without even acknowledging me as a customer.
To make the situation worse, she then went to stand by the entrance, watching what I would walk out with, as if waiting to catch me doing something wrong. I left with a tiny bag containing ONLY the earrings.
I went back to ask for her name. She said “Cristina,” with the same rude attitude.
After checking the Google reviews, I discovered that multiple customers have had the exact same problem with this same manager. This is a serious pattern of unprofessional and disrespectful behavior.
This type of treatment is unacceptable and extremely damaging to Zara’s reputation.

BUYERS, BEAWARE!!! Their jewelry is NON-RETURNABLE and the quality is extremely low. Especially if you’re shopping online, the store won’t take any responsibility at all!
I bought several bracelets with extremely poor quality — honestly, they were trash. I only took the bracelets out of the box to try them on, didn’t even wear them, but they refused to take them back just because the box was opened! The quality and the staff’s attitude were both terrible. I’m really disappointed and I’ll never buy anything from Zara again! 10/28/2025

I had a very bad experience. When I tried to check clothing sizes in the fitting room, the manager — whose behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional — took all the items from me and asked me and my kids to leave the store for no clear reason.
She claimed that customers are not allowed to try multiple items at the same time, which makes no sense. When we tried to explain, she even called security. The security officer was very polite and told us that this situation has happened many times before with the same manager.
ZARA management, are you aware that your customers are leaving because of this rude and disrespectful woman? She is damaging your store’s reputation and should not be in that position. Please take action before more customers walk away with the same bad experience.

I love Zara, love the clothes. HATE the employees. I'm afraid to ask any of them for help. They all look angry and give a smart ass answer to everything.

First and last time shopping at Zara in general. I will not support this business. I spent $650+ on items and noticed that on the receipt there was an item that I did not purchase and it was also not in my shopping bag. I went back into the store and let them know and asked them if there was any way we could review the cameras. The manager told me they don’t have access. I ended up disputing with my bank. Too much of a hassle for $49.95 children shoes that I did not purchase. Then when I purchased perfume the sales associate kept having me go get a new box and keep ringing up boxes of perfume until one finally went through. Like I said, first and last time shopping at Zara period. Shopping at this location left a bad taste in my mouth. Oh and I brought the .11 cent bag I paid
for back with my returned items. Do I get a refund on the bag lol? I sat on the phone for hours with customer service and they told me to send a message through the chat on Zara’s website. They messaged me to ask me to double check my bag. Seriously!! I’m telling you that you all made a mistake. Big corporations make mistakes. It’s okay. Just admit you made a mistake.

Terrible service. You place an order, but since the item never arrives to the store, they cancel the order. I never receive my refund. And now, they won’t even respond for it.
