“I spent most of the 2023 Holiday Season with friends in Howe, TX. They turned me onto their fried chicken, fish and pie.
I drove back to the store an hour later to special order a whole pie (ready the next afternoon $20). Shamelessly, I ate the whole pie - sharing it with my hosts didn't cross my mind once!
I do not recommend a whole pie in 3 days unless you enjoy sitting in the bathroom, alone, for hours the next day.
I doubt I will be back that way again. Here is a video I sent to my friends letting them know I made it back from a day trip safely.”
“Like others have said, the manager here is a great person who really takes care of his customers. I recently had some car troubles that I thought might’ve been from filling up here, (which it wasn’t) but he still worked with me to help and offered many times to compensate me for car the car troubles. “I love that they have plastic gloves at the pumps for customers to use. The windshield cleaner liquid is usually clean and fresh and never smells like sewage, the way it does at many gas stations. It's top tier fuel, and always the same price, or cheaper than, Albertsons across the street, which does not have top tier fuel.”

“Wonderful people. We were on our way to a wedding, and this was a much-needed oasis on a road full of closed businesses. Ann was so nice! I had forgotten something for the wedding, and she offered to run home and get it from her house and bring it to the church. Amazing, clean and helpful.”

“Can't remember what I was doing there, since this review is a year later. Probably a fuel and drinks type stop. But I'm sure there wasn't anything to complain about. In and out but nothing to really write home about.”
“The cleanest bathrooms I have EVER been to on a road trip! Many individual stalls for both men and women. Automatic seat covers, soap, water, and paper towels. Offers clean tissues, a variety of NICE toilet paper and small paper towels by the door so you don't have to open it with your hands. A purse hook AND a bouquet of flowers. It smelt like roses and there was no trash on the ground. They offer car vacuums, and a great selection of food. Never seen a gas station so clean a well organized. 10/10 experience and 10/10 recommend!”

“My rating is based strictly on the fuel pumps. Paid at the pump to fill 2 vehicles and both pumps would not give me a receipt. I had to go inside and ask the cashier. Only reason I stopped here is because of the TopTier status of Valero gas. The store inside lived up to the dirty reputation of these places.”

“Stop here ever chance I get when passing through the area. Being a trucker I try and stop at most Qts for fuel and snacks. Hopefully one day there will be a Qt truck stop built with showers for truck drivers..Would rather be able to use clean facilities and a more relaxed atmosphere. .”

“This is my favorite gas station/convenience store in Sherman. However, this morning went for gas and junk food for a road trip. There were 3 Dr. Pepper vendors going in and out to replenish supplies. Only 1 had his mask on properly. 1 used his mask as a chin strap and the other did not cover his nose. They can keep the food. Paid for gas at the pump and left.I'm tired of all of these business playing Russian Roulette with our health and life.”

“Yesterday I was traveling home from the hospital with no AC. Overwhelmed by the heat. Welcomed into the store offered free ice water and wet towels to cool down. Thank you!! After cooling off we made it home safely. True goodness of the staff during a challenging very hot time!!”
