“In response to a previous review: Why is HEB NOT just another grocery store? Why is it worth it to fight the crowds or (just a thought) time your trip for slower hours like weekday mornings? Here is your answer!1. Fresh tortillas and tortilla chips made all day long in the store.2. Bread baked right there in the bakery and sliced to order - Not shipped in frozen and thawed out on the shelf like Walmart.3. The best selection of wines and cheeses outside of a specialty store.4. Clerks who are always friendly and ready to answer questions! This kind of customer service is a lost art form. Thanks HEB!5. Great selection of party trays from bakery and/or deli.6. and finally (something our transplant from CA hasn't had time to appreciate possibly: local specialties from small business vendors that are FAR superior to National Chain Store options.Give them a chance you'll see why Texans just LOVE their HEB.”

“Tackett pharmacy truly goes above and beyond. I was not a current customer of Tackett pharmacy when I had my most recent prescription sent to them so they didn’t have to accommodate me by any means this evening.I had a prescription filled at my normal pharmacy that I was unable to take due to a peanut allergy. My prescription was sent over to Tackett pharmacy the next day as they were able to make this prescription to accommodate my allergy. My prescription was sent into them 1 hour before closing, this was a prescription they had to make themselves, I expressed my need for this prescription this evening and they worked hard to get it filled and said it would be done by closing if not right after. I told them I would be waiting in the parking lot so I didn’t keep them long, turns out I was at the wrong location… I called them right away, they were 8 minutes to closing and I was 20 minutes away. I expressed how important it was to get this prescription this evening and instead of just brushing me off and telling me to come back Monday they took my card over the phone and packaged my prescription to ensure it was stored appropriately and left it for me to pick up to ensure I had it this evening. They offered to do this all without me asking. My prescription was a progesterone supplement for my current pregnancy, I lost a baby in July so I was so stressed trying to start my prescription right away after already being a day behind. Tackett pharmacy had no idea who I was nor my history, yet showed so much grace by going out of their way to accommodate me this evening. I will be switching to them for all my pharmaceutical needs in the future. I love supporting businesses who truly care about their clients and they showed that this evening. I highly recommend using Tackett Pharmacy.”

“We don't go in the store very often, so this review mainly pertains to the pharmacy. Excellent quality service and staff... Always friendly and helpful. On this particular instance, we were on the way home from the ER and had a paper prescription for an antibiotic we need filled promptly. The woman who helped us, Michele, and her pharmacist, were both extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful. They insisted that we wait, and they filled it for us immediately! Within about 7 or 8 minutes, we had our antibiotic in hand, ready to go. I am so thankful that there are good people still out there in this world who love their job and love helping others. It is situations like this that restore my faith in humanity!”
