“Today I learned a valuable lesson in customer service, thanks to this UPS Store and its neighbor, FedEx. I came in with a pre-labeled return package that just needed a final seal. The clerk was not only unhelpful but seemed put out by my presence. He refused to provide a couple of inches of tape and demanded I buy a whole roll. It was a small thing, but his needlessly difficult attitude managed to sabotage my schedule and my mood. He could have easily earned a customer's appreciation, but chose not to.
Feeling pretty aggravated, I decided to walk over to the FedEx store next door. What a world of difference. The employee there greeted me warmly and took the package off my hands immediately. He didn't just tape it; he checked the contents, added filler paper to make sure it was secure for shipping, and handled everything with a smile. He single-handedly fixed the bad taste left by the UPS Store and made my day better.
Don't waste your time at this UPS Store where customers are treated like an inconvenience. Walk a few extra steps to FedEx and experience what actual customer service feels like.”
