It is a perfect beach getaway hotel that is very clean, with rooms that are laid out well, very big, light, airy, comfortable, and spacious. The property is an older hotel but well-maintained, with a clean hallway and laundry facility. Rooms feature a full suite with a kitchen, which is a big plus, and fancy appliances. There is an unlimited supply of hot water. The staff is super friendly, great, super helpful, and beyond friendly and helpful. Everyone takes pride in what they’re doing. It is a very conveniently located and quiet location with no commotion, close to Portland, Corpus, Port Aransas, and Rockport. Right down the road is a small HEB, restaurants, and a park. The hotel is pet friendly and definitely a nice place to stay on a budget, being reasonably priced and on the cheaper side. The pool looks very well taken care of. Guests are incredibly impressed and have never had a bad experience.
