Dereck is fantastic!! Ask for him. He is the most patient, helpful, just all around great customer service. I think I would have lost my mind if I didn’t have someone like him helping me out. He made it so easy and took his time to help me!

One month in and they jacked the rate up 68$. Total scam. Update, they tried to buy my review by offering an insignificant credit. Cunsumers need to Assume all 5 star reviews had the same offer. It would be cheaper per square foot to just rent an apartment for my stuff and then I would have 24 hour access. Still, total scam

Not sure where the 5 star reviews come from but there is no one actually at the property ever. My husband has made an appt through the website with an agent and no one showed up. There's no direct phone number to ever speak to someone on property. There are also no platform carts to move your stuff even thought there are pictures on the website that advertise it as well. I've been trying to return my key to an actual person to make sure it's received but no one is there ever.

I got a good deal, but a signal is trash here, considering you would like to use your phone to access the door. Or either it doesn't work anymore. Regardless, it's an inconvenience! Never no one in the office.
Now months later, door fixed and come move out. You can't get a refund after they have you autopay. So I paid a whole month of rent using 3 days and can't get my money back! Will never use them again!!! And the good deal only lasted a few months. I feel ripped off!!

UPDATE: District Manager Ty contacted me about my concern. We discussed my issue and came to a resolution that I was pleased with. I updated my rating accordingly.
I was charged $19.99 + tax for a lock the I did not authorize. I was emailed several documents when I rented the unit, one of which was a receipt for the initial month. At the bottom was the lock charge (which I did not authorize). The Rental Agreement, which is the binding document for the rental, did not say anything about being charged for a lock. I spoke to PS and their policy is not to refund the charge even though I did not use it or even realize it was inside the unit. They would rather lose a customer than refund a $20 lock charge, for a lock that was not even used!
I WILL NEVER rent from public storage again, regardless of how convenient they may be.
