Kroger is a grocery store that receives mixed reviews from customers. Many find the people and employees to be friendly, genial, kind, considerate, and warm, with specific praise for staff in the meat and pharmacy departments who offer help and excellent hospitality. The prices are seen as comparable to other stores, with fresh meat and produce available, and customers appreciate benefits like gas points. However, the store has significant drawbacks. The parking lot is always crowded with not enough parking places or buggies. The store itself can be problematic, with aisles always having something in the way and a horrendous smell upon walking in. It lacks basic vegan and vegetarian essentials like tofu and vegan cheese, which other locations carry. There are also complaints about broken equipment, like child belts in carts, not being repaired. Customer service is inconsistent, with some employees noted as being no help or not friendly. A serious allegation claims that food, including bakery goods, is thrown in the dumpster instead of being given to charity. Furthermore, a customer reports a confusing transaction at the fuel center involving incorrect change.
I wanted to buy several bakery goods at a discount to give to a shelter near me but "james stubb" or Stubbs I dont know his name "james Stubbs" told me everything is given to charity. I jumped in the dumpster every peice of bread/food is in there
