Hours clearly state they close at 5 but I came by at 3:30 and the doors were locked. DOGE must have already made necessary cuts at Ft Sam.

Overall, my experience with this postal service has been bad, from the work being very passive-aggressive to the damn place never being open. Like, they will put up a little sign saying, Oh, we will be back, like I understand if it were for one day, but no, it has been for the past two weeks, and it is very frustrating because I got off work to try and catch them, and when I do, they are very passive-aggressive.It's unacceptable for a business to be consistently closed with no clear indication of when they will reopen, leaving you and others waiting in vain. The passive-aggressive behavior from the staff is not only unprofessional but also incredibly annoying. It's as if they're intentionally trying to make it difficult for you to get your business done. Imagine how frustrating it is to get out of work only to find the place closed and then having to deal with a bad attitude when you do finally get there.

Had to go get my passport renewed. Friendly staff walked me through everything. Had to have an appointment for the passport but everything else is walk in.

Sooooo ssssssllllllloooooowwwwwww. No kidding, go somewhere else. Just went back only because I had to. Hours state M-F till 5:00 pm. Lights off, doors locked. Not doing business again today either, I guess.

Mary and Jmarie Friday 6 minutes before close were eagerly helping me with my passport application and make sure I got it right. She spot me Stick the wrong label on the envelope and just save my day for the important documents. They also open on Saturdays. Thank you for keeping helpfulness and cheerful staff that don't kick me out or nasty about anything. Love my post office

Closed! At 3:15 on a Friday. A notice that says technical difficulties. I can hear someone talking in the back but this place looks abandoned. On a base especially, this shouldn't happen.....

Closed during week for 'technical' difficulties. Apparently if the computers are down, they are no longer able to manually rate and take cash for payment. Why is this? Today, Saturday February17, 2024 at 10 a.m. they were not open (it appeared that no one bothered to show up) even though the posted hours say 9-12 on Saturday. No sign, nothing. They deserve a zero rating!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I just tried to come here at almost 2pm on a Wednesday and the doors are locked even though they are supposed to be open. No sign, no nothing about being out for lunch or no staff. Typical USPS service.
