We had just one night in Jefferson and chise The Knightlight Tavern.
Food was lovely, we really enjoyed it.
Staff were really helpful and friendly.
Met the owners and two if their friends, they were very convivial hosts, suggesting lots of ideas for our our onward journey. One of which was Caddo lake, mill pond which was well worth a visit.
I would definitely recommend this place.

Auntie Skinner's Riverboat Club
107 W Austin St, JeffersonWe popped in on New Year's Day for our annual NY Day lunch in Jefferson. They allowed our dog (service) to come in with us which was very nice. Our waitress was so wonderful and helped me with a modification I wanted. I had the Poor Man's Steak- it was AMAZING! My husband had the muffuletta - he gets it every time he has been and loves it, though he is considering my entree on his next visit (also, the muffuletta is coined as "the best muff in town." Ha). My son got the fried catfish. He was very pleased. Since our usual place closed its doors, Auntie Skinner's is probably our "new" New Years Day Lunch spot!
