My service advisor Mario like to put the blame on the customer for why the vehicle is broken. He is ignorant to look up what the customer add ons actually and what they actually do. I highly do not recommend shottenkirk Nissan Katy to anyone try a different dealer if you have issues and spread the word about how bad your experience so others know not to go there.

DONT BUY CAR FROM THEM!! AVOID THIS DEALEARSHIP!! One of the worst experiences I've ever had in my life. I had a problem while driving from Austin to Baton Rouge with my 8 year old son, and we stopped at a hotel close to this dealership. As I was alone and didn't know what it was in my car, and I had been looking for a new car for months, I decided to buy my car there, and I was interested in a 2020 Nissan. We arrived at 9:30 in the morning, and they kept asking me for documents, mine and my husband, asking for signing documents, until 3 o'clock in the afternoon, promising me a better interest rate, saying that the bank was approving my credit. I'm a medical doctor, staff at University!! At 3 in the afternoon, a evil character Iranian man, along with a fat, dirty-looking man, came to tell me that they would only sell me a brand new car because the bank had only approved a new car, and on top of that they wanted to pay 500 dollars for my car, and trying to sell it to me for an amount I couldn't afford, forcing me to pay something, with the justification that I had signed a paper without any writing, only with interest rates and values, and that I had said from the beginning I couldn't pay. anyway. I lost 5 hours of my life, they kept all my documents, which I'm waiting for them to send to my house. I left the dealership and went to the mechanic, and the noise I heard was a bubble in the tire. I changed the tire for 130 dollars. My car is worth 4 thousand dollars. THIS DEALERSHIP SHOULD BE CLOSED. GET AWAY FROM THERE URGENTLY AND LOOK FOR ANOTHER DEALEARSHIP BUY FROM!! Mainly from this corrupt Iranian lying salesman and the fat guy with the dirty sweaty face from the financing.

There is a Hispanic laddy who treats me as p5an intruder, and when I ask to get estimate for a mirror that I got broken at the HEB car wash, she had one done with only some things from the mirror, when I ask her that I needed the when thing fix. She answered with a bad attitude that the insurance probably wouldn't cover, when she didn't even ask what was going on, I end up gettinga better service at Toyota in Katy. In another occasions I had the air filter left on top of the motor. And other time I ask for a new oil change package and they didn't offered at the front desk they said they would have someone to came and talk to me, but no one did. I love the service in Baker Nissan though

Purchased a 2023 Nissan Titan here. LOVE the truck; I thought that warranted the star. But the sales experience was an admixture of tragicomedy and kabuki theater. The purchase took about three hours (no surprise there), with the usual theater of the salesman running back and forth to the sales manager, pretending he's fighting for you to get you a great deal. This never fails to crack us up (wife was there, she's also a fan of absurdity). The problem with the deal was Shottenkirk didn't want to make a decent offer on our trade. Their offer was less than the value of the tires on the vehicle. And they wouldn't budge. So, we were going to walk, (yes, the offer was so laughable it was a deal killer). But, the salesman we were working with said he was looking for a daily driver, and made a reasonable offer on it. Sold! (Both our trade in, and the Titan.) The next day, we received an apoplectic call from Marco, the Sales Manager, wanting to know all about the disposition of our "trade" (the one they wouldn't make a fair offer on). Told him it was sold in a separate transaction, to our salesman (the sales manager specifically asked). Subsequently, we received a call from the salesman, who tells us he got fired for buying our vehicle (this is supremely ironic, as the salesman's actions resulted in the sale of the Titan). So, I can only assume that not only did Shottenkirk not want to make a fair offer on the trade, they objected to ANYONE making us a fair offer. Draw your own conclusions about their business practices based on their conduct here . I particularly did not like the shrill call from Marco, the sales manager, involving me in a personnel issue. Very unprofessional. I see reviews of the Shottenkirk sales experience that are positive. I can only assume the reasons for those are denial, self-delusion, and rationalization. They are a tribute to the stunning efficacy of repressive defense mechanisms. If you are reading this, there are six other Nissan dealers also within distance. Perhaps begin your car buying journey at one of those.Edit: Received call from the dealership. Not about the sales experience, but expressing dismay that the review was garnering views. The gentleman I spoke to shared an implausible tale, involving an exciting narrative of deceit and deception. In fact, he prevaricated, the dealership HAD made a fair offer on my trade, but the salesman had engaged in a cunning and nefarious subterfuge, wherein he concealed this fabulous offer from us, just so he could get his hands on my trade for himself. Bwaaaah haaaa haaaaaa. (If the salesman reads this review, and wants hear to his former employer throw him under the bus (again), he should call. I've got an audio file, kept solely for entertainment purposes, of course.)Additional edit: I see the dealership finally posted a robo-response expressing concern (two months after purchase). I have spoken to them twice regarding my experience. I can only assume their response is meant for the wider audience, and not me.
