Total 5 star facility. Cathy works the front and makes sure you have everything you need. Lots of questions to answer -- it's best to answer them online before you enter the facility. Carter BloodCare has an app for that!Next you head in for a preliminary test. This makes sure your blood is within certain levels and is more likely to be accepted. Then it's on to a nice comfy lounge chair recliner, where you get set for the needle and bags. This facility has a large screen tv, so we got to watch Godzilla movie (with Jack Black). Snacks are provided before, during, and/or after. Granola, Oreos, nutter butters are just some of the goodies. They'll keep you hydrated with Gatorade, water, and Powerade. You can sign up to give blood or platelets. If accepted for the platelet donations, they offer up to $100 per donation. Each month Carter Blood offers a different handout. This month was specialized tshirts. I think the water bottles are in March.Go here to find out more: carterbloodcare.org

Went to the Saginaw/Alliance office 12/29/22. Stood at the counter with 2 employees behind the counter. No one acknowledged me or helped me. After a few minutes I just left. They seem to think that they are doing you a favor. Not the first time I've had issues at this location with employees and their attitudes. Guess they don't need my blood.

Wait can be hit or miss at times, but the staff is friendly and courteous. Most importantly they are VERY good at their job and for me blood donation has been a painless and easy experience.

Parriss was incredible! Amazing experience all around. My biggest fear is needles and she helped the blood flow easy.

Closed on Fridays?! They also close early at 2 on Saturdays. Staff is nice. Hours are not conducive for people that work during the week, have kids activities on Saturday mornings, and church on Sunday. They must not need blood.

I made an appointment for 1230 to have my blood drawn. The lady at the front desk had me wait an hour while she called other people without an appointment. Very poor public relations

Kept me waiting for 45 minutes before taking me in for a screening. Then another 30 before I actually got to the blood donation. Preferably could have been faster. But the donation part of it was great. They did a really good job

I visit here regularly - such competent service and close to home. Clean and thorough. I feel well cared for here and happy to give blood through a quality organization.

I was looking for a donation home since I moved here. I hosted a mobile drive 2 years ago, but this was faster and more personable . The location is open and has everything for you to do before and after giving blood. My phlebotemists was Latoya. She was all kinds of cool and we like the same shows. ( As I watch 911 while donating ) My veins are small, so I always ask for a supervisor stick so I don't get a hematoma. Guess what, Latoya and April * or Ashley * sorry...but they both did an amazing job with stick in and out. I love the selection of snacks, but they were low. Maybe the community could donate? They had enough for me. The location was cool, the ladies were professional , and I was a walk in. Tip* Set up a carter account and do your 54 questions before you come in. No hematoma and I saved 3 lives. p.s. Their screening for covid antibodies too, don't miss out. I'll be back in 54 days, I'm B Positive...like this review!!!

This is a wonderful way to give back. But when you have an appt. and you are still waiting in the front to be called about after 1 and 1/2 hours after your appt time you have got to wonder where the organizational skills are. I’ll try another location. Wasted a big part of my day.

CLOSED FEBRUARY 16!! Drove here in the snow and ice after receiving a critical blood need email and no one is here and building is locked. No memo on the phone system either.
